Katherine Heigl enjoys lunch with her mom Nancy Heigl and sister Meg on Tuesday (March 30) in Los Feliz, Calif.
In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, the 31-year-old actress revealed her regret in snubbing the Emmy Awards in 2008 and blaming the Grey’s Anatomy writers for her decision not to enter. “At the time I thought I was doing the right thing and I wanted to be clear that I wasn’t snubbing the Emmys,” she said.
“I was just afraid that if I said, ‘No comment’, it was going to come across like I couldn’t be bothered…,” Katherine explained. “I could have more gracefully said that without going into a private work matter. It was between me and the writers. I ambushed them, and it wasn’t very nice or fair.”

She’s a B!tch, she has no consideration for people, she’s using her daughter as excuse to leave the show who made her success to do movies and to gain sympathy!

The hair color didn’t make her look any better, just scarier. I guess she was doing some kind of “rebirth” sh*t after Grey’s.
The poor woman gets vilified by the press and her comments were completely blown out of proportion. I thought her interview was very honest and sincere. Not sure exactly what people want her to say – she can’t win either way with some people.
Why has she no consideration London? She is not using her daughter as an excuse at all. She wants to spend more time with her daughter – thats a good thing and the best way for her to do that is to pursue her movie career where she can take long breaks between pictures. Her TV schedule was an all year thing – and she had no break in the summer as that was the only chance she had to film. Seems like a sensible decision to me.

But I don’t think the flak for her comments were undeserved as she admits herself in the post. Writers are the unthanked brains behind these things that are often underpaid and her comments were extremely rude.
And in general, she is indeed a b*tch.
She should go back to being blonde as she looks homely-fug. Being a brunnette doesnt really suits her.

She is supposedly brunette to get in character for her stephanie plum role in Evanovich’s Plum series. Going to ruin that series for mystery lovin’ Plummers every where.

I like her in the darker hair, I think it really fits her. I don’t care what people say I like her a lot since the Grey’s Anatomy times. She’s a good actress.
I like her as an actress. She’s got a lot of charisma. I don’t know her as a person, so I won’t comment on her motivations or intentions. I think I like her better as a blonde because it makes her more unique. She kinda “blends in” as a brunette. Her daughter is adorable.

There goes grandma Heigl again. She pets a strange dog and she’s this great humanitarian? I’ll bet the dog’s owner will not bathe it for years now that the great Heigl has touched it.
