I guess I don’t care about celebrities but sometimes they do highlight issues and projects that would otherwise go unnoticed. Of course you hope people would go out and educate themselves about world issues but sometimes people are caught up in their own lives and it takes popular cultural figures spotlighting said issues for awareness to be raised. Even if you despise celebrity fakery; if their fakery raises money and awareness I say ok.

Afrika, so let me get this straight? You actually KNOW these celebrities and KNOW they are narcissistic? I know for one that Alicia Keys and Carrie Underwood do WAY more than you in terms of raising awareness and money for these charities. So as you sit on your sofa all day probably living off the government and commenting on these blogs, how about you stop and really think about the situation and the positive awareness they are spreading. You sound like an idiot.

He’s actually not fake. David actually cares about people like this, he’s done stuff before like this. He helped build a house on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He does the DC Run for Hope every year to raise money for cancer research. He visits sick children in hospitals. He raises money all the time for cancer. He truly cares about those who are underprivileged, sick, and poor. He’s a good guy.
