Madonna is collaborating with a new artist – her daughter, Lourdes!
The two have created Material Girl, a juniors’ clothing making its debut at Macy’s this fall!
“[Working with Lourdes] is good because she does have good taste in fashion,” Madonna shared with the AP. “I respect her taste and I rarely disagree with her.”
“[Stella McCartney] started giving Lola fabrics and inviting her into her showroom and asking her opinion on things, giving her sketch books and stuff like that,” Madonna continued. “Stella always pushed her.”
FYI: Madge is toting around the $30,000 Jimmy Choo “Blythe” bag.

Lourdes is such a beautiful girl!
“She does have good taste in fashion…..I respect her taste and rarely disagree with her” OF COURSE she’s gonna say that! It’s her MOM, for God’s Sake. Mothers usually think their daughters are the most beautiful creatures and agree with them on most things! It’s obvious she would have only compliments to make about her…..Hmmm….Lola????? That’s a cute name, maybe she should have called her daughter that. I didn’t know it was her nickname. It has absolutely nothing to do with her actual name but oh well!
Well of course as a mother she is going to think her child is intelligent, talented, and beautiful, but in Lola’s case, Madonna’s absolutely right to think and say great things about her daughter. I doubt all mothers agree with their teenage daughters, especially when it comes to taste in fashion! Lourdes is lucky to have a supportive mom who encourages her creativity and roots her on.

Vadge, quit pimping your kid in order to woo young fans. Also, Stella’s “fashion inspiration” comes from stealing designs from the Simplicity and Butterick pattern books from the early 80′s, so her opinion doesn’t really count.
Madonna should design a line of geriatric fashions that would include fingerless gloves like she always wears to hide those cryptkeeper hands.
madonna is great mom. she can raise lola normal and having lola own identity stamps on fashion makes me appreciated madge even more.
lola can stand up to be great designers, this girl knows stuff and her dress so cute and innovative. remember how madge is super busy and success raising kids under her circumstances, i said bravo to madge.

Lourdes looks like Joey Ramone, except less attractive. She also seems to be copying his style most of the time.

love lourdes but this is what bothers me about tween celeb kids: they are pushed into arenas that usually take years for people to enter. and they get things without really deserving it. what would a 12-14 year old know about designing a fashion line? this is absurd. let her stay in school and be a girl and when she has become an adult then she can venture into business deals like this. my opinion.

I think Lourdes is very pretty. But I also think that Madonna is not doing this out of the goodness of her heart, because she wants to see Lola pursue her dreams. Madonna is doing this to keep her name in the papers, to continue her fame.
And since Madonna knows that her age kind of passes that bracket of people who will be interested in her, she has enlisted her very young daughter, who can stlil captivate the audience, and engage the young crowd.
It’s sad but Lourdes is nothing but a tool in Madonna’s hands. At least I hope she gives Lourdes the profits that are due to her, put it in her trust fund or something…I somehow doubt that, Madonna will take all that money, because narcissists love money more than the air they breathe.
Madonna’s outfit screams “I’m trying to stay relevant and young!” Why can’t she just age gracefully with graceful outfits?…Its only going to get worse as she gets older.

Lola is stunning and will be a real knock out when she turns 16 17 18.
She doesn’t seem to act out like her Mother did. She handles the cameras quite well by ignoring them which i would think would be difficult to do.
She almost looks like an ice princess at times to me.
