Leighton Meester: Oranges at Christmas!

Leighton Meester stands beside some lighted plastic Christmas snowmen on the set of her new film, The Oranges, in New York City on Thursday (April 1)

The film is about a guy (Hugh Laurie) who falls for the daughter (Meester) of a family friend, making life just a bit awkward for himself and the family.

Leighton will be singing tonight at LaBrie’s Lounge in Glendale, Calif. The lounge tweeted a not-so-cryptic message about the event: “Tonight we got a surprise guest on stage. Don’t want to start any GOSSIP about this mystery GIRL but show up at 10:00 and don’t be LEIGHT.”

FYI: Leight has worked with Hugh before. She guest starred on an episode of House back in 2006.
