OlderJake Gyllenhaal: WonderCon Disney Dude
Jake Gyllenhaal looks sharp in a Burberry blazer as he promotes the Apple iPad at the Walt Disney Studios 2010 WonderCon convention on Saturday (April 3) in San Francisco, Calif.
The 29-year-old Brokeback Mountain star was joined by producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Mike Newell to promote their new movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time .
The fllick was shot in Morocco and Jake even did a lot of his own stunts! The movie involves Jake growing up on the streets, but after showing courage in battle, is adopted by the king as his heir.

I can never decide if I like him or not. I’m inclined not to like people who are born into connections but there’s something likable about him so..good for him.

Wow, jared! I guess for you, the only movie Jake made before this Prince of Persia thing, is Brokeback Mountain…five years ago!
Jake looked amazing at WonderCon and he was sweet and funny, and he flirted and there are dozens of pictures of him that are ten times better than the one you chose. But , this is what I expect from somebody who posts every single picture of Reese they can find and just disses Jake.
I would have thought pictures of Jerry Bruckheimer and the Prince of Persia game inventor, Jordan Mechner, and Mike Newell, the director all showing up to promote this with Jake, would have been more newsy than Jake holding an iPad at a party.
Jake is definitely looking delicious these days. Based on the tweets, everybody loved Jake at Wondercon. Prince of Persia still looks like a huge FAIL, but at lease Jake’s damaged image has recovered from the showmance. Jake was far from wacky at Wondercon. From accounts he was charming, flirty, funny and handsome. He’s doing his best to move on from a movie that sucks and he’s even promoting his next 2 upcoming movies. Good for Jake.
I think that he would be OK looking if his head wasn’t so freakishly large. Not attractive, IMO.
And he did his own stunts? No his CGI double did his stunts. Unless they now call running a “stunt”
This movie will fail, and Jake has forever damaged his dramatic movie reputation.

Prince of Persia is just one of his movies and no matter how good or bad it is, it will not hurt his career – Jake has proved his talent more than once and he continues to make interesting movies like Love and Other Drugs and Source Code.
He has a rubbery face. I don’t know how else to describe it. He’s not attractive.
But all of his other movies have bombed at the box office.

Sorta cute in a dorky sort of way – but his eyes are too close together and his features are a little bit weird to really be considered matinee-idol handsome. Does seem like a nice guy though. He looks a lot more upbeat these days so hopefully he’s recovered from the ‘romance.’

Jake Gyllenhaal is perfectly imperfect, one of the few young actors who are sexy, look good and have that certain IT. Oh yes, he’s very talented and extremely likeable, too.
