The film, out July 2, tells the story of a group of Manhattan teens who get involved with dealing drugs and watch their world fall apart.
Joel Schumacher directed Twelve, which debuted at Sundance back in January!

These kids grow up to APPRECIATE NOTHING THEY HAVE…DESTROY EVERYTHING OF VALUE…THEN SPIT ON IT AFTER! …THEY CAN ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING BETTER, right?

If these kids chose to follow God, they could do so much good with all their resources but instead they are the most self-absorbed selfish lot on the planet…FAITH is practically nonexistent in SECULAR MANHATTAN…And where are their parents, snorting lines of coke with the likes of Lindsay Lohan’s mom? No doubt…

I love this book. The spoiled rich kids are about all this book has to do with Gossip Girl. In Gossip Girl there’s sex and alcohol but it never gets messy beyond who is mad at who and what reputation is ruined. This is gritty. It bounces between a drug dealer with a four year old girl at home taking sexual payment from teenagers for drugs to a rich, bored, college kid stocking up on illegal weapons out of some morbid fascination with violence, to a scared kid being arrested for a murder he didn’t commit because he got into a fight over a game of basketball and it ends well for NOBODY.
Gossip Girl my ass. I’m so excited.

Or just that the drug dealer takes sexual payment (who happens to have a 4 year old kid)??? I’ve never read the book.
@BeReal: True. Why are rich people so faithless? I don’t care if ur jewish, catholic, episcopalian, whatever. But atleast beleive in God and in right from wrong. Manhattan is known for being extremely secular with nobody ever speaking about faith or religion.
I honestly think this looks terrible.
My colleague saw this at the sundance film festival & said it was one of the worst films ever shown there. But who knows, it could be alright.
