Diablo Cody‘s eggo is preggo!
The 31-year-old screenwriter is expecting her first child, she announced today on her Twitter.
“Thanks for the congrats on my fetus!” Diablo tweeted, going on to joke that Justin Bieber was the father of her child.
“No secrets here; just thought it would be fun to see how big I could get before someone noticed,” Diablo wrote.
This is the first child for Diablo and her husband. Congratulations to the happy couple!!

ANNIE NONYMOUS – Wow, way to keep it civil. It is a fetus, but it seems a little impersonal or callous calling it that. It’s a little strange to hear someone referring to a pregnancy as a fetus, wouldn’t you agree? “Congratulations on your fetus!”
How nice to see someone who got married before they’re expecting a wee one! That doesn’t seem to be the norm in Hollywood. All the best to Mr. & Mrs. Cody! ;)

Whaaaat?! Calling your baby a foetus is callous? Firstly, as Annie stated, it IS a foetus. Also, in light of Cody’s strange phrases and terminolgy in general (ummmm, if ‘your eggo is preggo’ is anything to go by, I don’t know what you expect) I’m sure this is just part of her natural expression. People are always trying to start something – same with Angelina Jolie when she called her kid a ‘blob’ (and no, I’m not a crazy fan but since the JPs are shoved down our throats so much, that example was the most close at hand)

that’s her perogative to call her unborn child a fetus which the medical community does till it can survive outside it’s mothers womb at about 24 weeks of age and you can’t always plan when your going to have a baby love is an impestuous emotion and part of the sexual intercorse that makes a woman into an expectant mother though it doesn’t always end happily
