Donny Osmond is a Disneyland Dad

Donny Osmond gets in some puppy love, posing with the tongue-wagging Pluto, wife Debbie and son Joshua, 12, at Disneyland on Tuesday (April 6) in Anaheim, Calif.

The 52-year-old entertainer recently went through a tough time in February when his sister, Marie Osmond‘s teenaged son Michael Blosil committed suicide.

Donny has a Ustream web chat scheduled for this Friday (April 9) @ 5:30 pm PDT. You can also follow him on Twitter @DonnyOsmond!

donny has managed to stay married to the same woman since 1978. that in itself is a major achievement. maybe these two people should teach others in the business how it’s done

Absolutely right. and you know how he did it? Not just by following the tenets of his faith, but by being SMART. He just doesn’t put himself into the kind of positions the Tiger Woods of the world do. Even when he was on “Dancing with the Stars” going to Millions of Milkshakes with his dance partner, Kym, he insisted his wife go as well so as not to even have the appearance of anything “date-like” going on between himself and someone else. That’s a man who is committed to the relationship. Howard Stern made fun of he and his wife being virgins when they married. But, hey, if you can trust a guy before you are married, chances are you can trust him (at least a lot more than someone who slept around) after you are married. My hubby and I are the same, and we have been married just one year less than Donny and Debbie, have 4 children and one grandchild, though of course, are not in the spotlight. In this day and age, I give props to any young people pledging to not do the popular thing nowadays and have sex with whomever you are dating at the time. Its a lot harder now than when I was younger, but the rewards are just as great.

    I agree with both statements.
My husband and I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage this June and I don’t know very many couple, famous or not that have been together or married that long. My husband and I came from parents that were divorced and vowed from the moment we met and got together in 1984 that communication is very important in an relationship.
I have followed the Osmonds since day one practically and Donny and Debby are wonderful. Family, Love and friends are important and it looks like they have it all.

Donny was always my favourite and that has never changed and totally agree with the comments about how they could teach younger hollywood a thing or two about marriage and what it takes to make it work, I don’t and never will see the fasinaction why some people think that a couple have to sleep around with so many people, if you find that someone that you want to and they in return want to share it all with you then go for it.

My best mate’s sister and her fella have been togrther since they werer both 18 and they are now both in their forties and have two kids and have been happy with each other since that day. Like any couple though in the spotlight or not I’m sure they have had their moments of disagreement that’s human nature but it’s how you deal with that aspect and how good your communicatioon is with each other that get’s you through those time’s.

    Donny is just great.

I would agree with what everyone is saying but I would add this: If Donny and Debbie are “old school’ hollywood that they live so much more respectably than most of the “new world” hollywood than I would ask you to give me five examples from their generation of hollywood that have been married even close to 35 years by their age.
