Taiwanese Boy Sings Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You'

Check out this amazing Whitney Houston soundalike!

Lin Yu Chun blew away judges on the Taiwanese singing competition Super Star Avenue with his rousing rendition of Whitney Houston‘s “I Will Always Love You.”

The winner of Super Star Avenue takes home $1 million and a chance to release his/her album!

Whitney recently canceled a show due to illness – maybe this guy should fill in for her!

Nice bowl cut, kid!!

How do I put this?... Says:

From what I’ve heard about her performances so far, maybe she should fly this boy in to do some shows.

That was amazing, damn there’s allot of unknown talent coming out of the woodworks. The male Susan Boyle, if he wins he better go get a nicer hairdo than that mushroom cut, yet then again gives him character.

I’m Taiwanese and the show is from Taiwan not China. It’s one of the most popular shows in Taiwan now.

Thanks Jared for sharing this clip! Just want to point out one thing though – that Super Star Avenue is a popular show in Taiwan, and this boy is also Taiwanese instead of Chinese.

^^Thanks for the correction. Now perhaps all the crazy “China’s taking over” comments can cease *rolls eyes*

    iFellytone Says:

@please: Hahaha, no Whitney hasn’t had hits after hits. She’s a burned out former diva who really can’t sing much anymore.

And her comeback album? After 3 years in production and a year’s delay none of her singles could even crack the Top 60. Plus her last #1 “hit” was in 1995, which only happened to last a week.

Lastly, what’s funnier is that her signature song, this one, isn’t even hers. It’s a cover of Dolly Parton’s 1960 classic. Think twice before calling others imitators
