Leighton Meester: Herbal Essences Global Ambassador!

Leighton Meester and her long, flowy locks have signed up to be Herbal Essences‘s new global ambassador.

The Gossip Girl actress was recently asked what her prior experience with Herbal Essences products was before signing with the brand. She told WWD, “My first memory is those iconic commercials back in the day. My mom used it, too�”the kind with the clear bottle with the flowers. Now it has a new look and everything is different. I started using it because Charles [Baker Strahan, Leighton's hairdresser] uses it and he [is Herbal Essences' spokesperson].”

Leighton‘s latest romantic comedy, Date Night, opens in theaters TODAY. She co-stars alongside Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Common, and Olivia Munn.
