The cast of Glee pays tribute to living legend Madonna on the latest flip-out cover of TV Guide Magazine, on stands April 15. Glee get into the groove for their Madonna-themed episode, airing April 20 on FOX. Here are some tidbits from the interview:
– On her early memories of Madonna, Lea Michele remembers attending Madonna‘s Drowned World Tour three times and styling her hair like Miss Ciccone when attending Bat Mitzvahs.
– Matthew Morrison recalls: “I wasn’t a big fan of Madonna; never got into it. As a heterosexual guy, she didn’t have much impact on my life.”
– Chris Colfer: “I was not allowed to listen to Madonna when I was younger.” “My mother and grandmother had all the CDs but didn’t want me to hear about sex.”
– Mark Salling grew up in a strict Christian home in the South: “Madonna was considered the she-devil.”
– Jane Lynch (pictured here in a cone bra) recalls “sitting at a bar all drunk on Long Island ice teas watching her ‘Material Girl’ video and thinking, ‘How Ballsy.’ ”

I cannot wait until April 13!!! I heard a preview of the Madonna themed episode and the guys and gals blow it right out of the water. Great cover, I am definitely getting it! They all look great, but Sue in that cone bra is hilarious!

You need to see beyond color and start seeing size. Amber wouldn’t be allowed ON a cover if Mrs. Obama had her way because of the image her weight promotes.
Dianna looks GREAT as Madonna, and did a respectable “Papa Don’t Preach” last season.
madonna is a legend .she inspires everybody .specially new artists. she beats beatles now. shes probably the biggest and more complete artist of all time. and shes a woman. ist very important that a woman is at #1.shes a hard worker and she inspires women all over the world. shes legend
its incredible that a 52 years old woman is so relevant and so inspiring and she breaks records after 30 years

I don’t even know what to say about Matt’s comments…..if he was openly gay and comfortable it would have been quite hilarious, but seeing as he’s closeted and totally insecure in almost all his interviews….he just looks silly.

OMG Lea Michele looks AMAZING! They all look great I could not be more excited for this Madonna episode! I’m psyched for Like a Prayer but I can’t wait for Vogue! Jane Lynch is going to be amazing.
1) why is Chris never in the magazines aswell? And where is Cory he’s kinda a main character.
2) they totally photoshoped Leas waist on the cover with Matthew, she looks super skinny!
