    He’s only ever directed one movie [Serenity], but that was a good movie. It might be best to take a director who’s done more feature films but I think he’ll do a good job anyway.

    Jon Favreau would have been my choice. Iron Man was great and the sequel looks to be just as good.

    He sucks! Not a good director, even worse writer, Alien Ressurection. He shouldn’t be allowed to direct traffic.

    I absolutely love Joss’s work and he has never let me down.
    I still get up early to watch Angel episodes.
    However I am not sure about him being the director of this.
    He has not let me down so far, so what the hell.

    Bring back Dollhouse ….and Buffy and Angel…

    Fiction is so much better with him.

    @Nick C:
    Uh, dumbass, did you see it says “even worse writer”. The very fact that you think his stuff is great pretty much shows where your head is at; how’s the smell up there? What are you 12? Oh it’s “a no brainer” alright. As long as twelve year olds like you are runnin’ around with their parents money to blow on God awful $hit, Joss will be okay. And if you’re older than 12, save yourself the embarrassment and don’t fess up to your real age. BTVS and Angel are the bestess TV shows in the whole-wide-world! And Firefly was a sci-fi masterpiece! Ridley Scott, and James Cameron probably crap themselves laughing at Joss Whedon’s “work”. Now go eat some Hot Pockets, and wait with baited breath for, The Avengers.
