OlderKe$ha Gets Artsy with 'Interview' Magazine
Ke$ha gets crazy in a new feature photo shoot for the April 2010 issue of Interview Magazine.
The mag’s introduction reads, “Kesha Rose Sebert, chart-topping, glitter-caked new queen of drunk-girl dance music. Might very well be the perfect post-modern pop star: one who lives her life like it’s a reality show.”
When asked about flaunting her eccentricity, K$ responds, “None of it’s fabricated. Like, I have a belief that if I wear my placenta in a necklace, there’s a possibility of me gaining second sight—like being psychic. I would be wearing it whether or not I was in the public eye. I’m just honest about the things I believe in. For instance, I went yesterday to a past-life regressionist, and he told me that in my past life I was assassinated. I’m pretty sure that I was JFK in my past life.”

The main problem with Ke$ha is her music primarily targets young people. While it is not acceptable for a 21-year-old to drink heavily, her songs endorse irresponsible behavior and are mainly listened to by adolescents. If she were singing about smoking instead of drinking she would not have No. 1 songs on iTunes, but this doesn’t change the fact that she sets a bad example.

Not matter what she does everytime she “dresses up” she looks dirty to me. As in not clean. I’m sorry but I can’t shake that feeling.
The girl is trip beautiful. If I had the billion that Trevie sings about in “Billionaire,” I would begin discussions with Fernando Botero. He is probably the only artist capable of capturing Eros on canvas. If they hit it off, the painting would rock the ages. Kiss Mona Lisa goodbye.

I like it. Finally a decent shoot, she should do more stuff like this instead of trying to look sexy like in her Maxim shoot. And guess what I dig her voice, just like people dig Lil Wayne’s music and voice. I dig hers. I like her swagger, I like imitating her voice&songs – it’s fun lol, I like singing along while I’m getting ready to go out. There’s just something yummy about her music/voice. I don’t know why people have to hate on her, she’s just a young girl.
