OlderJennifer Aniston: Lolavie Ad Campaign Revealed
Jennifer Aniston sits along the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in this new ad campaign for her fragrance Lolavie.
The 41-year-old actress will promote Lolavie this summer, including an appearance at UK’s Harrods in June to mark the launch. (Distribution and dates haven’t been determined for the U.S. yet.)
Here’s what Jen told WWD:
On the fragrance process: “It’s been a year-and-a-half journey. I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when Leon [Falic, president of the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, ‘This could be a creative expression.’ And it’s turned out to be an extension of myself as opposed to slapping my name on something… It wasn’t just about showing up for a shoot and putting my name on a bottle. I felt like a little chemist.”
On the aesthetic she aims to bring to her fragrance: “The first perfumes I ever wore were Miss Dior and Anais Anais. My mother wore Calèche and my grandmother used a body splash that came in a big yellow jug that she kept by the bathtub. Those were very strong scents. Now I am not a big perfume-y fragrance fan.”
On how Lolavie smells: “It’s a nonperfume perfume. Sexy and clean. Floral, but not too flowery. I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all I wanted it to smell natural.”
On the fragrance field being crowded with celebs: “The way I was approached, given such involvement, I never felt like, ‘Oh, gosh, I shouldn’t do this,.’ And if something is good, it doesn’t matter if the marketplace is crowded. I thought it was an opportunity to go behind the scenes, and if it feels good, why not go for it? It’s like being a producer and knowing the writers and stirring up ideas as opposed to being an actor for hire.”
On why her perfume is called Lolavie: “It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell but it has special significance.” (There is a phonetic similarity to “l’eau la vie,” which means water life in French. The Lolavie bottle was also inspired by the waves at the beach.)
On expanding beyond one fragrance: “Oh, anything’s possible. I would hope [Falic and I] get to do many things together.”
On if she envisions creating a Jennifer Aniston House of Beauty: “(laughs) I don’t know about that. I’ll stick with Lolavie right now and we’ll see how it slides up the flagpole.”
On the potential for even more exposure with the launch of the perfume: “I don’t think you can control that at the end of the day. You can’t stunt what you do to please or not please the public. And the media will create stories whether they are true or false. So why stop doing what makes you happy? Be true to yourself and everything else will follow.”

Jennifer is a super cool girl. It’s just innate for her. I feel very badly for her being saddled with this “desperate” title. So undeserved. But I think people mostly marry to have children. she’s far from the first celeb to do a fragrance that was Elizabeth Taylor 23 years ago and actually her and brad attempted to have a baby together but she miscarried and they decided not to try again which is understandable because parents to be get attached to their children early on in a pregnancy so to lose one is very traumatic particularly for the expectant mother but those that are strong in their relationship and faith in god tend to successful conceive again and have healthy children but others for emotional reasons chose not to go through the journey again from terror of the same unfortunate loss occouring again and it’s sadly quite common for couples to break up after losing a child in utero even up to three years after the loss
an example of a hollywood couple that weathered a miscarriage and went on to have children is Newman & Woodward she miscarried on their London honeymoon in 1958 and had their three daughters April 8th 1959 September 27th 1961 and April 21st 1965 and they have eight grandchildren the youngest of which was born November 1998

Jennifer Aniston is taking her own brand of natural, easygoing beauty into the fragrance market with her first perfume, Lolavie, which she described as “a nonperfume perfume.”
Aniston hopes her sexy, casual persona will translate into a scent that stands out in a marketplace of stylized or glamorous brands fronted by other A-list stars.
“It’s been a year-and-a-half journey,” she told WWD. “I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. Lolavie, produced by the Falic Fashion Group, will launch exclusively at Harrods in June, and roll out nationally in the U.K. in July through Boots and the Perfume Shop. It will then hit the U.S., but distribution and dates haven’t been determined. A 50-ml. bottle will cost 30 pounds, or $46.50 at current exchange rates, at retail in the U.K., with the 85-ml. version priced at 40 pounds, or $61.95.
Speaking on the set of the comedy “Just Go With It” costarring Adam Sandler, Aniston is working a natural look — tousled hair, tanned skin and minimal makeup — for her character, a single mom forced by her boss to masquerade as his soon-to-be ex-wife. It’s similar to her signature sweet-meets-sexy chic, which has become emblematic of the laid-back, healthy California lifestyle many brands vie to capture.
And that’s the aesthetic Aniston aims to bring to her fragrance.
Aniston’s previous experience in the beauty arena amounted to an ad for L’Oréal hair spray in the Nineties. Why did she hold out so long?
“Nothing made me go, ‘Oh that would be fun’ until this,” she said. “It wasn’t just about showing up for a shoot and putting my name on a bottle. I felt like a little chemist.”
The Lolavie bottle was inspired by Aniston’s affinity for modern architecture, as well as waves at the beach. The origin of the name remains a mystery.
What’s clear, however, is the phonetic similarity to “l’eau la vie,” and water and life are major themes in the print ad campaign, for which Mario Sorrenti shot a tanned, toned Aniston on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“What you see in the photos is really how she is; she’s unrehearsed and free,” said David Lipman, who conceptualized the brand, from the packaging to the ad campaign, with Aniston. “She didn’t want it to feel like a moment of pretension at any point, and even the shoot was very one-on-one. We hope that if people like the purity and the naturalness of who she is, they will want to experience this product with her.”
The ads will break in the June issues of British fashion magazines, coinciding with a personal appearance at Harrods to mark the launch. With her next film, “Switch,” not hitting theaters until August, Aniston said she plans to focus on promoting Lolavie this summer.
“Jennifer showed clear vision for the fragrance from the outset,” Leon Falic said. “Her references evoke her love of the natural world and the fragrance celebrates her as an intelligent, natural beauty whose strength and elegance are unparalleled.”
Asked about being a celebrity and the potential for even more exposure with the launch of a perfume, Aniston responded with the calm of a person who has made peace with living a life in the public eye.

The same applies to her acting. “Obviously, I’m drawn to comedy, good or bad. But I love doing parts that are different and I sprinkle those throughout to get creatively unstuck,” she said, noting her independent films “The Good Girl” and “Friends With Money.” Her next indie project is the film “Buttercup” a father-daughter drama directed by Niki Caro.
“I’m really excited about that one,” Aniston said. “It’s not trying not to make people laugh and it’s not a big tent pole picture. It will be more for me — and for the people who say, ‘You should do something serious.’”
Other directors she would like to work with include Drew Barrymore, David Fincher, Steven Soderbergh and Kathryn Bigelow, who won the best director Oscar this year for “The Hurt Locker.”
Aniston will also be returning to the stage. She started her career on the boards in New York, though she said, “Off-Broadway was the closest I got,” to take part in the Urban Arts Partnership’s 24 Hour Plays on Broadway for the second time.
She made her directorial debut with the Glamour Reel Moments short “Room 10” in 2006, and now feels up to the challenge of directing a feature film. “I have a project in development I’m going to direct,” she hinted. “After you get enough movies under your belt, you sit back and go, ‘What’s next?’ It’s getting to be the time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction.”

(According to sources, top Hollywood celebrities can command anywhere between $3 million and $10 million for lending their names and well-known faces to fragrances and other beauty deals.)

angie seems to have a fantastic life. Does Jen have a fantastic family life? I don’t think so. She has a lonely life. No man & no children. She will die alone. What will Jen do after Normal leaves or die? Well, I guess she will find another dog just like Angie will fine another man if Brad leaves. Trust me, tons of Hollywood people would love to be seen with them for self-promotion purposes. But their true friends do not use them like that. Everything about her is so plain and boring! That picture on the beach is bland. Nothing sexy about it. She just looks very cold. The perfume bottle is uninteresting, nothing special or memorable about it. The name is supposed to be quirky and whimsical, but doesn’t match the ad campaign or bottle design at all. That marriage was breaking down when therapy started (from Brad’s own mouth with 2 yrs of therapy in a the newly wed stage). That alone states they were having issues and this was well before he met Angelina. Also, how can you seriously say they were truly in love when the next day after a blind date, when Brad just broken up with Paltrow and Aniston dumped tate for Brad, she moved him into her place? That’s not love, that’s someone taking advantage of someone who was still broken from his previous relationship and they figured it would work. However, as time goes by you eventually find out you have nothing in common and the relationship/marriage has ran it’s course. Neither Brad or jennifer never talked about their union as a lifetime,why? Because they already knew it was coming to an end soon. Only folks who didn’t know was the media & their fans who put these two on a pedestal as a the “golden couple” of HW to sell magazines and give the average woman hope that she can land the HOT guy just like Aniston (this is why her fans are so up in arms because in their minds it was they associated their own lives to a relationship that should have really never been). Angelina had nothing to do with the break down of their marriage, Brad and Jen did that allon their own. However, before this Pitt and Aniston had already been seperated for 6 months while Pitt was filming Troy. It was kept under wraps and almost blown up when Aniston broke their secret by being seen in public w/o her wedding ring and Pitt was mad, remember.
So don’t blame Angie. Blame the Bradand Jenfor not dating each other first to make sure they were compatible butin the end who did they hurt? No children involved and Brad just moved onto what seems to be his true love and well Aniston moved on to hers, making movies.

But I guess since you obviously don’t speak much English and aren’t from America, you probably don’t know of the numerous movies before this one that are very popular with children doing very bad things. Namely, The Exorcist, The Omen, Fire Starter, The Good Son, The Bad Seed, Village of the Damned, Orphan, The Ring. And these were very bad kids killing good people. In KA it is just one good little girl killing very bad men. And in a very cool way. This movie is nothing new in having children kill. At least in KA she only killed grown men that were very bad and not children killing innocent children like in some other very popular movies. It did not mention the cause of her death and that was the time Jen admitted that she was seeing a therapist for 20 yrs. Jen is the one who is mentally ill. look at all her interviews her facial expressions you can tell instantly that she has mental issues. i know Huvane keeps reminding her not to show her habits but if she has a problem sometimes it’s hard to control. if Angie has a mental issues she won’t be successful as she is now. she can fly planes, a UN ambassador, great career and family. If AJ has mental issues there is no way she can focus on what she is doing unlike Jen she always needs Huvane in tow to guide her.

Haters don’t realize that chiniston works her @ss off to get that body. Her body is not naturally thin. She lost some weight & her body is toner. However, Angie is naturally thin. Its a matter of getting her body tone. If Angie wants to she could tone her body like she did in TR but Angie is not obsess with her body. She has more important thing to focus on than being shallow. Also, haters think Chiniston is the only woman in hollywood can get this body. There are many other celebs & non celebs have better body than Chiniston does. Moreover, when haters compare chiniston’s bod to Angie they don’t realized that Angie had 2 pregnancies 3 kids (still manage to stay thin) and Chiniston zero , nada, zil, nothing. In the end, Angie does have a nicer body maybe not toner. Angie has 3 kids & doesn’t work out.
