Not a fan.

He wasn’t even funny.
The cast members made me laugh, as usual. But him as a host failed to make me laugh at all. :|

Ryan did an awesome job…he made me laugh!

Insane Clown Posse was awesome, the weightlifter, the digital short I thought it was a solid SNL and Ryan Phillippe certainly has nothing to be ashamed of. Do you people who are freaking out watch the show regularly?

@aol: Yep, i watch the show every week, and this one sucked big, hairy ballz.

Jude Law and Gerard Butler were so much worse and lets not bring up January Jones. She was terrible. The hosts aren’t responsible for the writing but they can make bad writing seem worse.

This was a good show. The closing skit of th hiphop clowns was pure SNL gold. The four friends meeting in DC was vintage SNL irreverent humor, and we got to listen to Ryan singing. “I’ve Got This” was a very funny bit. The Shake Weight CD was hilarious.

Overall a classic episode. I’ve been watching since the very first episode when this was just called Saturday Night. Last night’s show was what it’s all about. (I’ll just ignore Kesha.)

Ryan Phillippe is so hot. I don’t think I appreciated how much until now.

seriously, this dude’s horrible.. in everything he’s ever done.

Stop the friggin’ presses! Ryan Phillipe has a smile in the photo for this story—well I’ll be damned, he DOES know how to smile. Miracles never cease. Didn’t watch SNL & won’t because he’s on it. Miserable person.

“Hilarious?” WTF?

This was yet another ep so baaaad that Ryan ought to sue SNL for making him look like a moron. What kind of idiots are writing this s h i t? Horrible! Thank gawd for FF.

Since when is he-who-cannot-smile the SMILING Prince Charming?

All the reviews are saying this was a hit or miss episode and the he did a good job. Much better than January, Jude, or Ashton or Zach Gilfinakides or whatever his name is. Haters are so disappointed that Ryan was good. lol

I find SNL’s comedy writing inconsistent this year. Ryan was fine given the script he had to work with but Kesha’s performance was weak. Her costumes were ridiculous.

I don’t think I’ve read any recap that said Ryan was a funny host. The most praise came for his buff body. And Kesha was universally panned.

The SNL cast did a good job of keeping the episode fairly entertaining.
