90210 co-stars Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup sandwich in celeb photographer Tyler Shields at his “Collisions” debut party at 1018 Gallery on Saturday (May 1) in Los Angeles.
JustJared.com can confirm that the 28-year-old shutterbug shot — not with a camera, with a GUN — a man during his party. Thankfully, no one was hurt. The man shot was wearing a bulletproof vest but there was a lot of fake blood!
Tyler blogged, “[The shooting] was planned and all safety precautions were taken. It was performed with a professional!”
Other celebs at the event, which was presented by Dyson Air Multiplier, Monster Energy and Coke: Brittany Snow (with boyfriend Ryan Rottman), former Kyle XY actor Matt Dallas, actress Zelda Williams, Caprica star Alessandra Torresani, actress Leven Rambin, aspiring pop star Simon Curtis and Backstreet Boys’ A.J. McLean.

Ugh, I liked the photo shoots that Tyler Shields had been doing, but this recent fascination with gun violence is offensive and disturbing. It’s like some of these people have no one around to just say “NO” and slap some sense into them!

I have seen Tyler’s work–and yes, it is pretty impressive. However, anyone that works with Lindsay Lohan in a photo shoot and decides to give her guns might need just as much help as she does.
Tyler Shield’s work is derivative of Terry Richardson’s work. Continue to create misogynistic works and call them art!

Tyler Shields is a publicity ***** that tries to pass his work off as “art”. Why does an artist need to constantly take pictures of celebrities making a mess all over themselves in order to draw people to his work. A real artist doesn’t need to do that. Meh, it doesn’t matter. There’s always enough fools out there who love this kind of stuff to keep him in business. The lasting thing about him is that no matter how many photo ops he gets, with him desperately leaning into some celeb, he still looks like a dork.

Tyler Shields Collisions is nothing more than a double exposure of sorts. All he is doing is projecting two images onto a projector screen and take a photo of the resulting double image.
This is not original, people have been doing this for decades.
Proof:
You can clearly see this in some of the shots where the lenticular pattern of the projector screen shows up.
You can also see this in the behavior of the light and photos, the light areas where white light can show through washes out dark areas of the other photo. This is very apparent in the “mouth” photo where the white wall behind the subjects legs washes out the middle of the mouth in the other photo.
This is not original, people have been doing this for decades.
wtf is this ******** fascination with shooting guns and blood and lindsay lohan sticking a gun in her mouth???!!! How is that art? Look at someone like cindy sherman who uses prosthetics and costumes to create amazing photographs. anyone who has to resort to what this idiot does is simply not original or talented.
I don’t care how safe it was, shooting someone or even using guns is not art to me.
