OlderJordin Sparks Hits Broadway -- In The Heights!
Jordin Sparks is the last American Idol vet to hit Broadway.
The 20-year-old singer is the new Nina Rosario (she falls in love with Benny, who works at Nina’s father Kevin’s dispatch). Jordin will play a limited 12-week engagement from August 19 through November 14.
“It’s always been one of my dreams to perform on Broadway,” Jordin told JustJared.com. “This is a brand new experience for me. I look so forward to spending time in New York City and joining this talented cast and my favorite new musical.”

She can barely get through a couple of regular shows without calling out sick to some illness. How many times is she going to call out and an understudy will go on? Please…

Woof…..You are so wrong! Jordin Sparks can REALLY sing and very well I might add. At least she will stay in tune with her performance, unlike some other 20 year old (awards a plenty) that has ALL the fame and can not stay within tune to save her own life! But Jordin is taking it “One Step At A Time”….
