Jessica Simpson smiles wide at the 2010 Operation Smile Gala at Cipriani, Wall Street in New York City on Thursday (May 6).
The 29-year-old country singer wore a one-shoulder Carolina Hererra dress, Brian Atwood shoes, Ferregamo clutch and Sutra jewels.
Operation Smile is a children’s charity treating facial deformities such as cleft lips and cleft palates around the world.
Jessica was recently in Washington D.C. for the White House Association dinner and bumped into her ex Tony Romo and his new girlfriend Candice Crawford. Awkward much?

Oh wow, she looks so pretty and fresh here. Love the dress and I love how comfortable she is in her body and is not trying to starve herself. She looks healthy and beautiful: good message for young girls. Kudos Jessica!

I’m not a fan, but she does look pretty good here – either she lost weight, is wearing an incredible corset, or this dress does miracles. She’s been looking so bloated lately, but not here.

But … I still take issue with the fish mouth (always open – is that supposed to be sexy) and the deer caught in the headlights look. She just tries too hard and comes across as a mannequin.
Can’t stand her but as long as she keeps her mouth shut, she can look quite stunning — as she does here. That dress was made for her. Perfect.

I find it ironic that a person who supports a charity called, “Operation Smile” (granted, it’s for cleft palates) only brushes their teeth three times a week.
