Mickey Rourke stars in an upcoming indie film with Transformers hottie Megan Fox.
“I just worked on a smaller movie [Passion Play],” the 57-year-old actor told Extra. “Creatively, it was a lot of fun. [Megan] was great to work with — and to look at. It was nice working with someone who has a reputation for being beautiful, but who really did her homework. She was challenging to work with. People are going to have a different perception of her.”
The film is about a trumpet player and a heroin addict who meets an angel in a carnival and ends up rescuing her from the clutches of a gangster. “It’s a strange movie,” Mickey admitted.
Mickey can be seen in the summer blockbuster, Iron Man 2, in theaters NOW!

So I guess she wasn’t the sucky actress he’s been making comments about??? He talks too much for his own good. Just keep quiet and pet your chihuahua’s like you said.
We are the ones making a big deal about her looks and she sells it well.. so why not? But I can honestly believe that she wants to prove herself as an actress, but who knows… (Jennifer’s Body, anyone?) Anyway, good luck to her.
You can only go so far, on your looks. Then you have to show some talent, or you will fade away.

She’s not a good actress. It feels as if she just fell into this without knowing all the job entailed.
To those who call Megan a bad actress: in what role has she been required to act to let you make this judgement? Don’t you generally have to see someone TRY to act to find out if they can or not? Some people are ridiculous.
Passion Play is gonna be her first dramatic role and she’s got one of the finest actors of his generation complimenting her performance, but you think you know better based on her eye candy non-role in Transformers, lol. And by the way, Mickey Rourke is not known for bulls*t, he criticized his co-stars many times. A compliment from him is as good as it gets.
Mickey was bashing Scarlett Johansson with that comment a couple of weeks ago. he’s already said that megan is a good actress. i’m still not sure why people hate on her so much. there’s really no reason for it.

she is a total and complete joke! she is the talentless version of lindsay lohan. at least lindsay showed talent in mean girls. meanwhile, megan hasn’t done anything, besides bashing superior actresses, doing drugs, getting drunk, and partying. she made herself unlikable and if she does not change, no one will support her.
i hope she proves us wrong about her non-talent in passion play. the movie looks interesting and if she can act in this movie, this will be her true breakout.
