Oprah + Alan Ball = Immortal Life

Oprah Winfrey and True Blood creator Alan Ball are teaming up to create an HBO film together!

The two will base the film on the nonfiction best-seller The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, according to the AP. The story, written by Rebecca Skloot, is the true account of an African-American woman who died of cervical cancer in the 1950s – and the nonconsensual use of her tumor for medical exploration use after her death.

There is no word yet on when production will start or when we’ll see it on HBO.

OK Oprah is now moving in on movie mogul territory. Keep going Oprah and don’t look back!!! But please go into more creative and interesting projects. Think out of the box!

Anything with Alan Ball involved can only be great.

Alan Ball could make this movie incredible if Oprah Winfrey doesn’t play any role in the movie…
