Penn Badgley strikes a pose at the Jonathan Adler for 7 For All Mankind launch celebration at one of the brand’s NYC stores on Wednesday (May 12).
The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actor stars opposite Emma Stone, Amanda Bynes and Cam Gigandet in the upcoming movie, Easy A, out September 17. You can watch the trailer below!
Penn told JustJared.com about his character in the flick: “He’s effortlessly cool but sort of irreverent, strange and offbeat. At one point, I was covered in blue body paint because there’s a flash of him as a mascot for the Blue Devils.”
Unfortunately ladies, he’ll be wearing clothes: “I was wearing blue shorts with blue tights on under it.”

this is a second rate movie that people like stanley tucci and patricia heaton do not need to be in(!)
and amanda bynes is so clearly a lead actress. she should never be in a supporting role, it’s just weird!
emma stone is so generic. who chose her for that role?? boo. next.
I think the movie doesn’t seem all that bad, though not a hit or anything. It will most likely have some to-die-for lines, a couple of funny scenes and that about covers it. All in all it’s not a movie I would pay a ticket to watch… though I’ll probably rent it and give an opinion later.
A movie with Amanda Bynes is whr Penn Badgley belongs. Mediocre at best.

Emma Stone is so cute and is an amazing actress, i love her sense of humor and maybe those who don’t think this movie is watch worthy then maybe you have no sense of humor?? I will totally support emma stone, I think we’ll be seeing her in more future comedies :)

Can’t wait to see this movie, it’s the typical teen rom-com obviously Emma will end up with Penn. But i love these type of films anyways.
