Ryan Kwanten and Chris Hemsworth celebrate Australians in film at the Breakthrough Awards held at the Thompson Beverly Hills on Thursday (May 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The Aussie actors, 33 and 26, received Breakthrough Awards for their work in Hollywood!
Ryan also spoke about his late friend, Heath Ledger, and presented actress Bella Heathcote (pictured below) with a scholarship in Heath‘s name.

Thank you Jared. Ryan deserves that award, he’s amazing! And now that I’ve seen a good pic of Hemsworth, I see why they picked him for Thor. Big up Australia – they’re both gorgeous!
I am such a Ryan Kwanten fan!! I very happy for him this recognition is justly deserved! He own Jason Stackhouse! and his new movie Red Hill is getting really good buzz!

I LOVE home and away!! they revived the Vinny (Kwantens character) story a little bit!! His wife and kid visit his grave. Think they were trying to ride on Ryan’s recent True Blood popularity a little but and drum up viewership!
I think both these actors are going to be huge stars. Kwanten might take a little longer but once Hemsworth’s Thor is released, it’s gonna be a whole new world for him. Since they both seem to have class, it will be nice to see the good guys win.
God I love Chris Hemsworth. He is gonna be huge. He is a brilliant actor! Cant wait to see him in Thor!
Not sure my post went thru, but Ryan Kwanten is freakin amazing as Jason Stackhouse on True Blood. He owns his role and makes the show, IMO.
