Conan O'Brien's New Show Debuts November 8!

Conan O’Brien will launch his new late-night talk show on Monday (November 8) on TBS.

The 47-year-old joked at the Turner upfront on Wednesday at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom , “[Can someone] explain what the hell happened four months ago? The plot to Lost is more plausible than the last year of my life.”

Conan added, “I really believe in basic cable. Basic cable is what makes this country great. I do not want to live in a country with less than six ESPNs.”

    He looks great there! :)

  • Donovan

I think he’s really funny and I’m a fan but he really could have handled that whole NBC thing better. I get that his feelings were hurt but I thought he got a little petty there at the end.

  • Lindsay

    I love Coco

  • TeamCoco

Let the countdown begin… 173 days and 10 hours.

  • Josie

He is so hot, i’m not even kidding, something about him just makes me all hot and bothered.
My first ginger crush…second, scott grimes is dreamy too :)

  • Not funny

He has never been funny, never will and his show on this whatever cable network won’t be either. He is childish and stupid frat-boy like. Grow up, Conan.

  • Lillianne

I haven’t heard a word about the millions of dollars he made for going away. All I hear from him is boo hoo hoo poor me.

  • L

@Lillianne: Um, he hasn’t said anything like that at all.

He is sure doing the same thing to George Lopez. He is a big cry baby, not funny at all. NBC paid him over $100 M to go away, but carrot top decided he needed to get more greedy and take over GL deal. Maybe George should start crying like a little girl too, and get the attention of the Media. Or at least point a finger at this hypocrite.

    Coco’s a legend. Step off.

  • Mike

Connan is the lamest comedian out there. The only reason ppl talk about him lately is because of his problem with Jay Leno. He played the underdog to get people’s sympathy, But in reality he bombed the Tonight Show, and he knows it. I think he was a bad choice to begin with, You don’t replace someone like Leno with a sucker like Connan.

  • Knox

What a looser Connan is, he is ugly as hell and his comedy sucks big time.

  • Gina

That’s one show I won’t be watching, Can’t stand that redheaded ape.

  • chris

now, I just hope all of you people who whined and moaned about him, watch his freaking show. if not, stfu!

I have to agree with everyone who hates conan. I think he is an ugly non funny piece of sh!t. And I also think he is into little boys, IE NAMBLA. Conan is a pedophile (in my humble opinion).

  • Joel McHale Groupie

    Be cool my babies.

  • loser

thats not true – if you dont think hes funny you dont have a sense of humor.
jay leno was funny too, hes the kind of talk shows id say. but conan didnt do a bad job.
poor leno though now, everyone hates him because of this.

  • kim

get your facts straight. He got paid 30 million to leave and he gave part of his earnings to his staff that didnt receive any pension from NBC. Conan is a nice guy and he understands nbc decision that it was a business decision. so if you want to bad mouth Conan, at least get your facts straight. I think he is funny and unique and he has more memorable moments than jay leno. I watched both for years and I would rather watch conan over jay any day.

  • tbag

@Donovan: Nuh! he was being ridiculous but only because he could! what were they gunna do…fire him? he did have his inallseriousness farewell to nbc :)
