I feel evil for saying this BUT….I just dont get why this girl is where she is; she has a clothing line, a book deal, now this “style” book, and yet I dont get why……I dont think shes talented or even remotely interesting; I dont get why her books have done so well and why she even “designs” clothes, who buys them, ten year old? but I have to give her credit for taking her fame from some random TV show and building it into what she has…..I guess when you compare her to her peers you do have to appreciate her drive and business sense

@Arianna: She’s slightly smarter and more likeable than her peers but I agree. There are tons of these rich girls who aren’t really doing anything around, who little girls idolize, ie. Hilary Duff, and so forth.

What makes her an authority on style? She dresses like every other trend obsessed unoriginal girl at the mall.

She looks possessed. She should have chosen a different pic because this one is scaring me.

@Arianna:

I don’t get it either. Are there actually kids who buy her books? Maybe the mean girls at school. And clothes? Surely adults don’t go for that kind of stuff.

she has no style. I mean i give her props for building essentially a mini empire with her clothing line, books etc. But like some have said, I don’t get her appeal.

She is someone that used the connections she had to make something of herself. I totally applaud her for that and for the success of her books. Whether or not she is talented does not matter at this point. She is definitely business savvy.

love her!!!!

Love her, but I think she looks much older than 24.

Hm, I also respect Lauren Conrad’s drive -the business she built. However I can’t take her designs or her books seriously. Their are people who go to school for fashion design that work tremendously hard and people who spend 4 years or more in university learning how to write. Those people deserve success.

She seems like a good person overall and I actually respect her (unlike her The Hills counterparts) but she doesn’t have noticeable style and her writing is amateur…I for one will not be buying this book.

Hate away all you bloggers! While you are all bitching about her, she is busy writing “best selling” books, producing a movie and designing her own clothing line. I bet this book is a best seller too. So, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t care what you all think about her. Go Lauren….do your thing girlfriend!!!

A very tense look with a fuddy duddy hairdo. I don’t see the charisma at all. She’s sweet and nice but I don’t get the “fame” appeal.

Let the rain fall down and wake my dreams bLah BlAh… SORRY it’s automatic when i see her face

lol. who the h chose that photo? she looks horrible. she looks like she’s 40 L.O.L!

and i agree, she has no style at all. she’s totally boring, vanilla, generic bleh.

yah, she’s a nice person. but nice doesn’t mean she is special or has style.

just sayin.

very sharon tate ish style!! but ofcourse no one can compare to sharon’s beauty.
