Katie Holmes shines on the red carpet with husband Tom Cruise at the 2010 National Movie Awards held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday (May 26).
Katie, 31, wore her own design from the Holmes & Yang collection. She paired her chevron striped maxi dress with Roger Vivier “Belle Lucie” peep-toe boots in black satin.
Tom was honored with the Screen Icon award, which was presented by Gwyneth Paltrow.

i think it is totALLY ridiculous how everyone complains about her style. it is not her job to dress well to make jj readers happy. shes still a normal person and im sure if paps were followin u around, u would look like **** too. but i think her clothes looked nice in the last post.

I can’t believed I criticized sophia bush’s dress (which was at least a stylish potato bag – from yesterday) when I’m seeing that outfit that is a potato bag, and it’s not nice for potatoes.
If it’s a piece from a collection made by her, maybe she should study more her girlfriend victoria beckham who actually can make clothes.

The whole look of the season which Katie is pulling off quite well is “casual elegance” not like you are trying to hard. I do believe she should have worn a casual flat with this dress. Something strappy – lots of straps like the cage sandal or a cage flat. But, all in all she is pulling it off. Remember, she goes by a fashion sense that is way ahead of ours!
Tom is always great, i can’t wait for his movie with cameron diaz.

I think this is the best she has looked in recent months. (with the exception of the shoes. for this light a dress, it needed strappy sandals, not boots). she looks relaxed in her body and face, and her makeup is gorgeous. I happen to love the dress. I don’t get why people have to be so very negative about her. It’s her life. Tom, to me, seems to continue to be very controlling and too “on”. he needs to tune it down a notch.
Katie looks nice here, however, I wished she could wear a lower hills. Tom is forever handsome and charming. Love him!
