OlderJamie Bell & Josh Hutcherson For Spider-Man?
Here are the candidates to play the famed web-slinger in the Spider-Man reboot, directed by Marc Webb of (500) Days of Summer fame.

The new Spider-Man movie will be an angst-ridden tale of a teen that will deal with Peter Parker having “the knowledge that his uncle died even though he had the power to stop it.”

I think that Jamie Bell would be good. He’s a really great actor and has actual talent. And also he has that geeky kind of look. Peter Parker is not suppossed to be this gorgeous guy anyway. I really think he would be able to pull it off
But i do wonder what happened with adding logan lerman to the list?

Love Josh Hutcherson and all. Think he’s a really good actor but I still feel like a recast… well a spider man makeover is going to flop… majorly.

none of them looks like a Peter Parker. as far as i know Jamie Bell’s the only one that can actually act. and that Hutcherson kid… can you say annoying, childish, geeky, and completely wrong?!? ..if you want Spider-Man to bomb and suck more than Spider-Man 3 then they wont cast him. i’m sure none of these kids will get cast for the role. Logan Lerman’s perfect for the role. it should have been his already.
I agree with inFamously Cool…none of them look like a Peter parker, and yes Logan Lerman has both the cute appeal and charisma to pull off being a young angst Spidey.

This topic/idea was already covered in the first Spider-Man movie, no one will be interested in seeing this ‘remake’…it’s just pure laziness…come up with a new idea!

I don’t care who they cast as spiderman. It’s too early for a reboot. For crying out loud, the last one only came out on 2007

Jamie Bell is an excellent actor but so is Andrew Garfield.
He was so good in the movie Boy A, he actually won a BAFTA for that role. I do not know the other actor’s that are mentioned to comment on them. Huge for whoever wins this role, good luck to all of them.
