Lee DeWyze: AMERICAN IDOL Winner!

Lee DeWyze shows who’s #1 during the 2010 American Idol finale held at the Nokia Theatre on Wednesday (May 26) in Los Angeles.

Lee, 24, from Mt. Prospect, IL, is the ninth finalist to win the coveted Idol crown and a record contract with 19 Recordings. He capped his coronation on the finale by singing “Beautiful Day,” which is available for download on iTunes.

“I’ve never been happier in my life,” Lee said. “There’s no words to describe it. It’s just amazing.”
