OlderRachel Weisz: Agora Opens on Friday!
Rachel Weisz is white hot at a special screening of her new movie, Agora, held at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday (May 26).
The 40-year-old British beauty wore a ruched Yigal Azrouel dress, Manolo Blahnik booties and Tiffany & Co. jewels and clutch.
Set in ancient Egypt under Roman rule, Agora follows the brilliant and beautiful astronomer Hypatia (Weisz) who leads a group of disciples fighting to save the wisdom of the Ancient World. The flick opens this Friday (May 28) at NYC’s Landmark Sunshine and The Paris. Opens June 4th in LA!

Anyway I saw it in January and it is GREAT !
Saw it last night and met Rachel, its a great movie and Rachel was great in it.. Rachel was very nice in person as well.

I agree, Rachel is one of the best actresses of her generation. i also saw the movie and while the film has its problems, Rachel is a class act all the way. I say if you see it, see it for her performance alone.

Saw “Agora” in Spain last year and I loved it. Rachel gives another Oscar worthy performace. Glad it’s finally come to the states
Rachel can make a trash bag look sexy. Plus she’s one hell of an actress, one of the best.
The heavy booties ruin the look of her light summer dress. A crisp sexy heel would compliment the outfit. Plus the fit of the dress is off as it tugs through the bust.
Her Oscar was the politically correct choice and completely undeserved.

Honestly, Rachel Weisz’s Oscar win was one of the most well deserved wins of the last few years. Want to talk about an Oscar that was not well deserved , try Sandra Bullock.
