OlderLee DeWyze AND Crystal Bowersox Sign Recording Deals
American Idol champ Lee DeWyze and runner-up Crystal Bowersox have both signed their recording contracts!
Lee, 24, is signed to 19 Recordings and RCA Records.
Crystal, also 24, is signed to 19 Recordings and Jive Records.
Lee joins fellow alums Chris Daughtry and Adam Lambert as labelmates, while Crystal joins Jordin Sparks, Kris Allen, and Allison Iraheta.

Lee is a talented songwriter/musician. They both look good like that picture.

I am not a fan of AI. I have not watched AI for years, like not since the second season. So, saying that, I am always interested in the top two or 3 after the season is over with and watch to see how they do in real life. Also any of the others who stand out, like Hudson. This was the first time I have heard Lee and Crystal sing. I shut my eyes and let my mind drift… With this song, Crystal sounds very Bluzie/R&B, reminds me a bit of a Janic Joplin ballad. Lee makes me think of soft rock/counrty rock. I like both. Guess I’ll be keeping track of both. Good job you two.
I don’t understand why they even choose a winner on AI anymore. Everybody on that show eventually gets signed to a record deal so what’s the point of even having this show still?

its not auto-tuned they are really good singers if u watch idol you know that thay dont let bad singers on the show and i like them both either way i was going to be happy with the winner lee is sweet and Crystal is awesome. they are both really talented.

LEE is good to the ear, while crystal is just boring, i would not sit in the plane listening to crystal’s album, cause i will get tired in some time, But Lee has different styles of singing , not just one tune!
i think both will be amazing in the future ahead.

I thought Lee sounded horrible on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. He should not have won IMO.

crystal should no doubt have been the winner of american idol…that is why it is so frustrating watching this show…she clearly is the better singer and did not win..i think the show would be better if the judges could weigh in on the final two and have a voice in the final decision…look what happened last year…adam lambert was clearly the better singer and he did not win either…i am no longer watching this show…lee is good but crystal is in a league of her own with the likes of carrie underwood…that is what seen as well during her duets on the final show with alana morissette, joe cocker, etc. she clearly belongs with the greats…it is a shame she did not win…but it all comes down to trying to get through the telephone lines…i tried and tried to get through but i am sorry to say i was unsuccessful…a large percentage of lee’s fans, were most likely the young pre-teen and teen girls who would undoubtedly sit on that telephone line for hours to get through and in the end, I believe that dedictation and his good looks and not that the fact that he had the best voice is what prevailed in the voting and gave him the win…not to say he is not a good singer but Crystal is unbelievable..i have no doubt that she will be hugely sucessful in her career for the rest of her life and she will have platinum albums after albums…..i know i will be buying all her cds and whoever ends up signing her will be the smartest record company out there..go girl…feel free to email me crystal if u ever have time to chat with a fan…u seem like great people and i would be honoured to get to know u as a friend…take care and keep on singing…we need ur beautiful voice..ur friend sue.
Casey will be more successful than either but of the two, Crystal and Lee, I loved Crystal from the very beginning. Casey is a better musician and more marketable.
