Dennis Hopper: Dead at 74 After Cancer Battle

Dennis Hopper died today (May 29) from prostate cancer complications at his home in Venice, Calif.

The 74-year-old actor died at 8:15 a.m., with his family and friends at his side.

Dennis had been married five times and was going through divorce proceedings with his current wife Victoria, who stated that the actor was seeking to cut her out of her inheritance (a claim he denied).

Dennis’ career included films such as the 1969 classic, Easy Rider, as well as Rebel Without a Cause, Apocalypse Now and Blue Velvet.

Our deepest condolences to Dennis’ friends and family. RIP!
