Gerry was making a movie at the time and I suspect he would be dirty since this is a war movie.Also, the reason Ralph continues to were his head shaved is that he has been in the process of losing his hair for sometime. It makes sense to just go with it and keep it close to the head. I think Gerry is a wonderful natural actor that makes you feel everything he does in each of his roles. Blasphemephemy in these blogs doesn’t make it so, just makes it a degrading and posionous rant. If you want to spend your life with so much negativity, so be it, but you will be the one losing your soul. Peace.

You know I never believed the gay rumours, but the funny thing is the Laurie story came out at a time when the gay rumours became very loud here on JJ. Remember the AD thread that had photos of his house and him sitting on a red chair and there were several people saying that the painting in his house could only be owned by someone who is gay? Immediately after that the whole story about Laurie unfolded. And yes he has been pictured kissing women before, arcade, violin girl, Martina etc, but with Laurie it is different. These were real date photos with them walking through Paris and talking and having lunch. Then that was followed by the beach photos, where they are relaxing and enjoying their time by the pool etc.

So as far as I am concerned it is one of two things. He’s gay and asked Laurie to help him cover it up in exchange for some good PR for her show. Or he really does like her and wants to introduce her to his fans slowly as a legitimate gf and also to silence the gay rumours once and for all.

On May 31st he was at the birthday party.TV owner threw party for his birthday and GB came with Marko Misković and as Serbian press claims Marko’s girlfriend. Among guests were many famous Serbian people who were at the parties which GB attended during his fist stay in Belgrade.People already call him Butler the Serb on some Serbian forums.That is hilarious.

And FYI, he does this all the time; JA is not the only one he did it to. I can name 2 other incidents where he engaged in such activity: one was with the guy who played in PSIL (his name escapes me) and the other was with Gina Philips, an actress in LA. There are other attempted incidents where he was stopped just in time. He apparently thinks it’s funny. What’s more, he does it to men and women alike, but I suspect only to people he genuinely likes. So it’s not like he did it to JA because she has a sleazy relationship with him. The guy Gerry is posing with in the pic looks like he would do anything (looks like he’s thinking “I’m gonna get me some Butler tonight”), Gerry will pose for a picture with anybody – why can’t he just say no. He has no awareness about himself or he just doesn’t give a damn (possible mental case). The open shirt must have been enticing to the guys in the bar, because women sure don’t like that look!

The guy Gerry is posing with in the pic looks like he would do anything (looks like he’s thinking “I’m gonna get me some Butler tonight”), Gerry will pose for a picture with anybody – why can’t he just say no. He has no awareness about himself or he just doesn’t give a damn (possible mental case). The open shirt must have been enticing to the guys in the bar, because women sure don’t like that look. As far as the Laurie situation goes, I’m sure GB does like her…to a degree. Clearly she’s not special enough for him to give up clubbing every night and making out with models in between their visits.

That was just included in the copy that went with the paps photos and got repeated from there like it was gospel. It was likely just made up or surmised filler from some gossiphound (no offence gh!). Other than the one little interview in which Laurie said something about them being friends but living in different countries, neither one of them has actually said a thing publicly about their friendship … certainly not G.

I think they’re friends with benefits and that the whole thing was also staged for PR to benefit and help her out with her career…

I’m afraid I just don’t buy the whole gay issue. Butler was a brain and he was perceived as a suckup when he needed to be, but he was very popular. He was like the big guy on campus. Putting together from what I’ve heard from my friend, most of the girls were nuts about him and that made a lot of guys mad. But they could not come out and say it, because he was the golden boy. Everybody sucked it up. And, it’s funny, but they still seem to be.

Butler’s chart, ( ah shucks!) Thank you, I do write for a living or try anyway. Believe me when i say this, writing is the easy part. I can’t say more than that, but it’s been an educational experience. I spend my down time on this silly site and dogonit! I enjoy everyone’s post. Quit a few of them are funny and some could be journalist/reporters. Either that or they could work for the FBI on tracking down felons. Some are quirky and down to earth. We’re all here to distract ourself from life for a little while every day. I liken Butler to a favorite soap opera that we can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow. Some days the rumors fly like bees to the honey and others we’re stuck with each other and then fights start. You really shouldn’t pressure Taureans and I’m worried he will misinterpret any pursuance on my part. Sure, I’d like to call just to hear his voice and talk to him about little things but I’ve always had the general impression most men don’t like to talk on the phone(if they even like to talk at all ;). Okay, veteran Gerry trackers here on JJ…he’s been flying below the radar for quite a bit these past couple of weeks. Once he left all the hoopla in France, he had a trip to Moscow which produced only a few photos and little info about his activities except a possible real estate purchase. A trip back to Belgrade netted us one (rather icky-looking photo at a party) and then he slipped into Scotland.

No club/pub/snog photos to be found.

Does he lay low like this often? I’m new Gerry-Watch so I’ve not been through a drought like this with him.

After the bounty that was TBH and HTTYD press…and the Belgrade experience (oh…that’s right. He was filming a movie, too…) and then Croatia…then Monaco…then France.

@Nuts: I’ve only been paying attention since last fall and he’s been going pretty much nonstop up until now even over Xmas there were twitter and blog sightings. You usually find that though he is still consistent with a 48-72 hour rule even if it is just one measly photo with a questionable character, that we never seem to go more than 72 hours without seeing a new photo of him pop up somewhere somehow or least some credible sightings as credible as twitter or cyberspace can be, these days no more or less than entertainment news media, and usually the time lapse is 48 hours. When Gerry hit Scotland last time, assuming he is still there, there were numerous sightings of Gerry from the time he boarded a flight from London to Glasgow, people saw him driving through Paisley and around
Glasgow, so one could only surmise he wanted to be seen. And that was before he hit his usual hangout/Club Boho? that night. He can “fly” under the radar when he wants to.

@Old Mia: I hope you are right. Except for the one mention in the press of him being at a theater performance awhile back, I think he’s pretty much left alone by the locals when he’s in Comrie. I think it’s safe to say he is in Scotland. That Gal’s friend met him at Glasgow airport and he was calling from Scotland to that guy in Lady Manville. If he has any sense he will stay put in Comrie for a few days as i expect the locals pretty much leave him alone so he can chill and wind down after Coriolanus, the serious partying etc and get geared up for MGP. I will say considering all his serious partying in Belgrade if he puts in a great performance in Coriolanus he’s a better actor than ive given credit for.

@Now Then: I think he compartmentalizes everything. I don’t think it takes him long to actually learn his lines, he memorized legal junk for years. The only times I’ve ever heard of him getting into a role before the cameras were ready to roll was on the set of LAC when he went off and sat by himself at lunchtime and those pix from Coriolanus when he was again off by himself studying lines. He seems to be able to do emotion well at a moment’s notice. It’s things like accents that he needs to spend more time on.
