Gwyneth Paltrow shows how to prepare a Mexican family-style meal in her latest GOOP newsletter, including southern California classic, grilled shrimp tacos.
The 37-year-old Iron Man actress writes, “It is possible to make a quick and easy dinner for the family that everyone loves. Make it your own; set up all the parts separately and then explore variations on a theme. The kids can eat black bean and brown rice tacos with guacamole and pico de gallo without hot chili. The grownups can have grilled shrimp, hot sauce…”

I think she knows her career as an actress is tapering off; it has been for a while. She has maybe one more Iron Man film left if she’s lucky and that role could be played well by tons of actresses. Parts tend to dry up as actresses approach 40 and she’s in a large peer group competing for roles.
She needs to work on her technique if she’s serious about this new career.
Goopy does not look good without makeup.
@swifty: G.P. tends to look masculine when her hair’s pulled back and she’s wearing minimal makeup. She benefits immensely from good styling and makeup.

Gwyn missed the cooking class on how not to lick your fingers and then stick them back in the guacamole. I guess as long as it’s your family it’s okay, but icky otherwise.
I prefer when she talks about food. The rest of her newsletter tends to be unrealistic, especially in this economy.
