OlderJake Gyllenhaal: My Abs Make Me Who I Am
Jake Gyllenhaal leaves the gym drinking Ice Age Premium water on Thursday (June 3) in Studio City, Calif.
The 29-year-old actor recently joked about how much his abs mean to him. “I don’t know if I have enough time to go into specifically how much they mean to me. But they make me who I am,” Jake told AskMen. “Without them, I don’t know. At awards shows, I will always thank them, that and the hair.”
“I think I’m going to make my hair jealous in the movie, anything about my abs,” Jake continued. “If you don’t mind, I would like to include my hair in this comment and so I’d like to say my abs have been a little upset actually that they have been covered by suits and shirts for most of the publicity of this movie so without them, thank you for giving me the opportunity to talk about them. I don’t know where I would be without them.”

Of course he’s joking! He is actually making fun of all the hype and the gushing about his abs and the pre-occupation with his workout routine, etc. It’s been going on for weeks and he was just having fun with it. Jake is a sweetheart! Smart, funny, and sweet mother is he HAWT!

OK Jake, we get it. You don’t take yourself very seriously. I guess this makes you charming, sorta. Is this why you don’t get married and settle down and have a family? You couldn’t make fun of yourself as easily then. I think it’s time you gave up being goofy and made some kids.
I kinda dig the “goofy.” He’s had some pretty funny quotes lately. I think it’s pretty awesome when an actor realizes they are an actor and don’t take themselves too seriously. :-)

Didn’t like him that much before, but lately he has been so cute and funny in his interviews, he’s changing my mind. I actually went to see the Prince of Persia, and he surprised me in it, I didn’t think he could pull of sexy but he did.
