LOL! Once again, a Rihanna post immediately has the haters lining up to put in their worthless two cents. Well call me tasteless, but I think Rihanna in red hair is pretty damn cool. Her skin tone perfectly matches the shade and her eyes just pop. I honestly can’t see why people call her ugly or gross…The general consensus is that she is one of the sexiest women in the world. Her body is amazing and she can sing and put on a hell of a show. Why so negative? Be happy that a black girl is finally getting the mainstream attention that rivals the typical white female pop star. BTW, U people may hate her hair, but one thing that is so awesome about RiRi is the fact that she isn’t afraid to try something new and different. lIl’ Kim, Kelis, Grace Jones…They all were black women who were not afriad to play with their looks and style…But unlike the women I mentioned, Rihanna has already had more success than many women in just five years. It took Janet longer and was a less meteoric rise to fame. PLUS, Rihanna is absolutely gorgeous and so what if she wants to cut her hair and dye it strange colors…It’s just hair and I’m sure if she wanted to, she could go back to her longer, more feminine hair.

Sorry Adriana but your comment about rihanna having a more metoric rise to fame than janet is laughable. Janet was massive back in the day, not to mention she was the baby sister to Michael Jackson which automatically gave her some level of stardom. We will see if in 20 years anyone is still talking about Rihanna’s new upcoming project or are people saying, “remember that girl Rihanna?’ We will see.

And don’t compare Rihanna to Lil Kim, Kelis, or Grace Jones because those women where doing “interesting” imaging/sound when it WASN’T popular and done by every entertainer in their genre and other black entertainers. Rihanna is doing what will get her fame and attention after other failed attempts at creating an image that could bring her those things (her first 2 albums), those others did this from the beginning of their respective careers. I respect that she is doing this to boost her career but at least recognize that it’s about marketing and if this wasn’t working, she wouldn’t be doing it.

BTW, i already knew she was going red because she really didn’t have any where else to go, it was the next logical step. the color is nice, the cut- not so much but I’m sure her stylist will tweak it later.

On her it looks great. On her anything looks good. The woman won the looks lottery. She is not the greatest singer but she has and awesome body and very attractive. Love her skin.

Has anyone here seen tropic thunder? And Ben stillers character, Tugg speedman, had a movie prior to Tropic that floundered about a mentally disadvantaged man called simplye jack who could talk to animals….

she is fully rocking the simple jack look. It didnt fly on jack and it aint flying on rihanna either. I actually liked her blonde do-the later versions. Colour suited her and she looked beautiful with the long fringe swept across her face.

But seriously…this is…bad…
