Older'Breaking Dawn' Split into Two Films!
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be released as two separate films, Summit Entertainment confirms to JustJared.com.
The first of the two slated will be released in theatres on November 18, 2011!
Helming both flicks will be Dreamgirls director Bill Condon with the main cast reprising their roles: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
Production for Breaking Dawn, which is based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, will kick off this fall. Eclipse opens on June 30!

That’s surprising. Harry Potter is doing that as well.
I’m glad. Breaking Dawn is such a long book. So much would have been lost if it was one movie! Yay! I’m so excited! I hope they don’t come out that far apart though.

Besides, we knew this was happening months ago. Every reliable site out there was reporting that it was going to be two movies.

Harry Potter wanna be
Was anyone worried that this wouldn’t happen. I haven’t read any of the books, but from way back people were saying there was too much information in the last book to do justice to it with one movie. I don’t think they copied Harry Potter, it’s just makes sense. Those that make up the Harry Potter creative group don’t have dibs on doing something that makes common sense and is practical. I’d had been surprise if they hadn’t made it two movies.

Btw if you don’t like the movies or books that’s fine, but you haven’t had to ‘endure’ anything. No one is forced to read any threads regarding the Twilight series either.
They’re going to milk this crap to the bitter end. Thank God Stephanie Meyer didn’t “write” 7 books! Can you imagine?

hahahaha I love how everyone thinks Twilight is absolutely horrible. The movie actually wouldn’t be that bad if Kristen Stewart got acting lessons, it’s like she’s constantly spazzing out. But whatever, fact is, all these actors are making more money than us and probably don’t care if everyone hates there movie, cause they sure are making bank.

They’re milking it for all it’s worth! 2 movies is more money than 1! I won’t be surprised if they buy another book out of Stephanie, so they can keep the franchise going.
The big question is where will it be filmed….

ok even though harry potter and twilight are two different themes…it would be great if twilight didn’t have to copy the idea of harry potter?…i think they should be original like have an intermission instead of dreading a year to see half of the book
