    Nice cover!!!

Watch out, Jared. You might cause Donovan’s head to explode by not featuring him in a separate post. Word has it that he *had* to be the main focus of the cover. Too bad when Bomer’s the guy whose star is truly on the rise.

  • dots

    Matt looks gorgeous!

Thanks JJ, for White Collar/Matt news! More, please ;)

  • Cassie

Matt’s gorgeous as usual. ..runs to supermarket to pickup my copy.

  • anon

I love Royal Pains and Burn NOtice. Great shows for the summer.

We need more of these guys.

  • N.

Awww, no love for the Psych boys?!! Their new season will be starting soon, they are on USA and they are super FUNNY! Matt Bomer is a cutie but I miss him as Bryce Larkin on Chuck.

  • Spence

Cannot get enough of the amazing, beautiful Bomer!

  • Alison

@G.G.: Burn notice is the highest rated of those 3 shows, so I don’t see why Jeffery shouldn’t be the focus.

  • Bruno

Sorry, but what’s a USA actor? I’ve read it quite a lot lately….

  • Penny

@C.G. You are correct about Mr. Donovan – he is a diva. And you are also right, Mr. Bomer will be the bigger star in long run, Matt is the true actor and is the nicest guy in the business – and he’s obviously hotter!!

  • Crittle

Awww…No Shawn and Gus? Psych is the greatest. Love Burn Notice and Royal Pains, haven’t really gotten into White Collar.

  • BenLA

@ Alison Actually it took Burn Notice a couple years to build it’s audience; White Collar, first on Fridays, then now Tuesdays was/is up against stronger network shows has done extremely well. White Collar also has higher ratings in the coveted 18-39/40 dems than does Burn.

  • Sammy

Matt Bomer has truly re-defined HOT for the world!! He is a great talent, so glad USA snapped him up. He has created the best new character on television!

  • Dee

Great cover and definitely funs shows to watch over the summer.

@ N, I agree! I miss Matt Bomer as Bryce Larkin on Chuck.

  • sgd

Can’t wait for White Collar on DVD and new season – great show and amazing cast. And then there is Matt, no one in show biz like him – thanks JJ!

  • Pete

Ah the beautiful Bomer – thanks Jared – never tire of this gorgeous man.

  • Bruno

I’ve never been one to follow or care much about actors but I find Matt the exception. His movie idol looks, his great talent and the fact that he is always such a class act is so refreshing for an actor in hollywood these days. Don’t ever change Matt!!

  • angie

white collar could be 45 minutes of matt bomer cleaning pools and i’d still watch it. unf.

in the words of lady gaga, “HOT LIKE MEXICO!”

  • Freddie

Bomer has no personality offscreen. And he left his wife to be with another man.

  • Bren

@Freddie -So you are Freddie today – again on posts spreading that silly yarn of yours about a former wife that no one would ever believe and would be a matter of public record if it was true. You are a liar “Freddie.” Matt has truly arrived when other agents publicists are making up yarns like this!!!

  • Jen

@FreddieF you. Do you know him personally or something? Matt is dating his publicist and they are raising two freaking kids together. How do you know he left her and they didn’t seperate mutually? She wouldn’t let him raise their children if he was a horrible person. Hey, maybe you should explain why SHE’S not raising their kids? I wonder why she didn’t get custody.

  • Skil

Hollywood is a buzz about all of the scripts that Matt is now getting. In the coming years, while these other two guys are still doing tv shows, Matt will be doing leading-man movie roles and certainly won’t be sharing magazine covers with them.

  • yay

nice cover of goodlooking gay men!! hollywood is becoming more accepting everyday

  • Sarge

@Jen – This same ‘Freddie’ loser posts this phony ex-wife story on all Matt posts. It’s a total fabrication. Matt is one of the classiest guys on the planet.

  • jc

hahaha what a gay cover (dont shoot me)

  • Amelle

@jc: *kicks you in the balls*

  • cjla

    Matt is delicious.

  • petula

I’ve heard Jeffrey Donavan’s ego is huge. Wake up Jeffrey – Matt is the new face of USA Network and rightfully so.

  • IS

Matt is soooo hot! I can’t wait to see Neal Caffrey again!

  • Potter

Matt’s partner is publicist Simon Halls. He’s not dating “his” publicist, his partner “is” a publicist. Matt is represented by another firm (all of this is easily found if you look). Simon has three children of his own (through a surrogate mother) that Matt is helping to raise.

“White Collar” is a guilty pleasure as is Matt!

  • Wow

Matt looks so young and fine! He’s talented actor and I really love his show White Collar!

  • jennifah

why do all the gorgeous, scrumdidillyumpcious actors have to be GAY?? way to kill our womanly fantasies. yes, i’m looking at YOU Matt Bomer! of course it’s great he’s being honest about who he really is, but DAMN sometimes i (selfishly) wish the gay idols would just come out as bisexual and leave it at that.
if the droolworthy Taylor Kitsch and the stunningly hot Ben Barnes come out as gay, i’ll want to pull my hair out! >:-0 buzzkilllll

okay. please excuse that totally selfish rant.

  • Jasmine

This offends me, where’s the Psych boys!! That’s the only watchable show on that network!

  • Laura

I love it! They are so adorable! And Matt is the hottest one!

  • Jeff

What, there are 3 guys on the cover? I only noticed the stunning Matthew Bomer.

  • Rachelsun

The best actor on the cover is Jeffrey Donovan. Matt Bomers acting is pathetic next to his. Only a bunch of 12 y/o girls would think average actor Bomer is better than Donovan. A real woman would take a rugged man w/ scars than a pretty boy skinny boy any day.
The highest rated show is Burn Notice and not White Collar which by the way they debuted to ride on Burn Notice coattails.

  • kara

The 3 guys are great actors, no matters if they are gays, divas or anything, don’t judge someone you don’t know.

  • http://justjared bias

Matt refuses to admit that he is gay (although he was considered out of the closet prior to the White Collar gig). He (and his publicist partner) worries that it will ruin his chances of a tv career if he is identified as gay from the outset.
Donovan has earnt his stripes and is upfront about who he is. He isn’t screwing a high profile PR flack then just happens to get a lead in a tv series. Donovan has worked with Clint Eastwood for christ’s sake – Clint has taste and an eye for talent. So hhe has the ability for both film and tv work. Donovan is the lead actor, is also a producer on Burn Notice, has directed episodes and co-ordinates all his and the other actors fight scenes for the series. Burn Notice is the highest rated show on cable – he deserves the cover based on talent and popularity of his show.

  • Alexa

Is Jeffrey Donovan of Burn Notice chopped liver or something? It’s the biggest, most popular show of the lot!

  • Colleen

And you know this because you have actually spent time with him? Anything I have ever read about Jeffrey Donovan portrays him as friendly, gracious, accommodating and humble. And these remarks were made by people who have actually spent the time interviewing him.

  • cherry weeks

Not surprising how the other two guys on the cover pale in comparison. Matt is like a breath of fresh air. I was cynical till I caught the pilot episode of White Collar (and believe me, I hardly follow TV shows anymore, as most offer same old, same old boring storylines). I was captivated by Matt’s looks and the only other actor who has that effect on me is Jensen Ackles. Both have truly beautiful features and you’ll agree if you care to study them one by one! I think it’s so sexy that Matt is dating a guy–and doesn’t bother to hide it (although he understandably doesn’t want to shout about it). Lots of bigots and prejudiced types out there, after all. I hope Matt all the best in his undertakings. He deserves it for simply being so sweet and beautiful. And for being true to himself.

  • Colleen

I love it when people have to promote their favorites by trashing the other guys. I notice that “Burn” fans aren’t putting down Matt and Mark. Must mean we are the classiest fans of the bunch!) And I always find “I heard” to be very suspicious words to open a statement with. Have you never heard the expression “Believe half of what you read and NONE of what you hear”? Go meet the guy, spend some time with him and THEN come back and share your opinion!!!

  • SkipWB

I’ve seen all 3 at events in person, All seem like great guys in their own way. All good actors in different ways as well. All 3 shows fun to watch. However, Matt obviously excels in the dreamy looks department.

  • Bernie

@bias – Looks like we have a ‘Queerty’ blogger here. Quit your whining on Matt, his personal life is his own and apparently no one really cares since he has among the hottest careers in the business right now, so get the hell over it and live your own life.

  • jrd-la

Lighten up folks – it’s TV guide and all of these guys are great! I don’t normally post but have to comment:
@Freddie – silly story that no one would believe
@Rachelsun – a ‘real woman/man’ – really, can’t decide whether you are in high school or live in a trailer park, maybe both?
@bias – perfect name for yourself – based on Matt’s meteoric rise, issue is moot!

  • Alexa

@Colleen: Agree! I have nothing against Matt Bomer, in fact I love him to pieces! Don’t really watch Royal Pains all that much.
But White Collar is a newborn baby compared to Burn Notice which has been renewed for its sixth season already!
I’m sure the success of Burn Notice has worked in White Collar’s favor – and vice versa.
There’s a reason why Jeffrey’s the one standing in the middle.

  • Lacy

I love all three of these shows – USA is just on point with their original summer programming, they’re all great.

Matt Bomer’s fantastic – love that he’s so much more than just a pretty face in White Collar. Neal as a character actually has a lot of depth. New season starts July 13 – yay! Looking forward to seeing what they give him to work with this season.

  • Kent

Matt has created the best new character on tv – no one else could play Neil Caffrey

  • BBW

@bias: What a silly, spiteful post. Matt isn’t hiding anything about who he is. If he were worried about staying closeted he wouldn’t go around wearing his wedding ring all the time. Not shouting about something =/= lying about it. And all that just because you prefer Donovan? You can like one actor without trashing another, you know.

Anyway… About time we had more Bomer on the site, Jared. You’ve been very lax in that dept of late.

And you need to update this post. There are now extra photos and an interview with all three at

  • fooled

Matt may be pretty but he is dishonest and a coward
