    If Lucy Liu can get one, Denzel deserves his own post!

  • Nanea

    # 2 – KellStar: I totally agree. Denzel is much more deserving than others here for his own post.

    Saw Fences on Saturday. The audience was so thrilled to see Denzil live! What a great performer. After the play, I;d say 70% of the audience stood outside the theatre and waited for the cast. OK, waited for Denzil. I’ve never seen anything like it. Congratulations to D & V on their Tony awards.

    Congratulations to all these great actors!!!

    Can someone confirm…?? When did Scarlett get rid of her huge implants? She is much prettier that way. It makes her look classier and elegant. Good decision, Scarlett!

  • Oye Vey

    Am I the only one that picked-up on the fact that Denzel Washington and Viola Davis did not thank each other in their acceptance speeches?? I expected more from Denzel.

    Viola Davis is a great actress, but that dress is awful.

    @op:

    No she is not. She was great in this play and it was her Broadway debut.

    So glad for all their success. But I wasn’t pleased one bit with Denzel’s acceptance speech.

  • paddisonluvr

    SOO happy for Scarlett. Sick of hearing people call her the actress who only knows how to look gorgeous. I think she’s a great actress and it’s awesome that she seemed so genuine in her acceptance speech – even thanked the author of the play. Congrats to everyone who won last night!

    @Nicki: Implants? Seriously… Ever heard of weight loss?

  • http://marquismarq Mark Olmsted

    @Oye Vey: She did not thank him, but he mentioned her–almost in passing. At the post-Tony news conference, the way their body language indicated a complete lack of warmth. According to Bronson Pinchot, D..W. is a nightmare to work with–who knows?

  • james clapton

    Denzel is a great actor but Alfred Molina shouldve won. Oh and Viola Davis acted all over Denzels face in Fences. The show is hers!
