Cameron Diaz Talks Alex Rodriguez Relationship

Cameron Diaz opens up to the July 2010 issue of Playboy (via Us Weekly):

On if she’s dating Yankees hunk Alex Rodriguez: “No, no, no. I’ve been in relationships since I was 16-years old. In the past three years I’ve made a conscious decision not to be in a relationship for as long as I want. I’ve stayed away from all the traps out there for me to just fall into something that will potentially lead me down the same road … I want to have a relationship with myself right now.”

On reuniting with ex Justin Timberlake for the romantic comedy, Bad Teacher: “We’re adults. Of course, we could work together. It’s been three years since we broke up. It’s all done … We’re friends; he’s really talented and funny, and we’re good at being funny together. A great dynamic we have is that we love laughing together … he’s so hilarious.”

On differentiating sexuality and love: “I can be attracted to a woman sexually, but it doesn’t mean I want to be in love with a woman. If I’m going to be with a woman sexually, it doesn’t mean I’m a lesbian. We put these restraints and definitions on people, but it’s hard to define.”

On having an open love life: “I never shut down any man who’s willing to ask me out unless he’s a total douche bag. It takes a lot for a guy to ask out a girl like me – not because I think I’m super special or anything. It’s just that I think men are intimidated, and it’s a lot to get involved with. It’s not uncomplicated.”

So it’s that easy??? Um, guys!!! Just ask!

“I never shut down any man who’s willing to ask me out. . . ”

well that made me love her. such a refreshing, down to earth girl.

# 2

Oh she’s cute! I hate people saying she’s selfish just because she doesn’t feel like having any kids right now or eventually never. We, women, are not only incubators.

# 3

Her career seems in the dumps and she isn’t aging too well but she seems quite down to earth and like she is really enjoying life. What more can you ask of a person?

# 4

he looks like such a woman

# 5

I like her personality. I like how she can be an adult and be friends with her exes. She’s not immature like some celebs that shall remain nameless.

You guys are azzhooles get a fcukin life!

It’s human nature to label not only people, but everything. We categorize and that’s how it will always be, so there’s going to be a label if you’re a woman having sex with another woman. Get over it. Whatever you do, you’re gonna get judged. There’s no getting around that. That being said, it’s nice that she doesn’t let that keep her down because she’s clearly a strong, independent and easygoing person and I like how carefree she is. BUT the whole ‘I’m gonna flaunt my sexuality everywhere, look at me I’m an independent, liberated female’ thing is so damn annoying and overdone. I’m happy for you that you have a lot of sex…with anyone…but not everyone cares to know.

Well, if she doesn’t like D-bags, she’d better run from A-rod….he’s the king of D-bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AROD looks fruity

She’s is very unattractive!! Yuck! He looks like a little princess.

She’s gorgeous. Yummy!

She always looks like she’s trying to swallow a man when she kisses him. Gross.

He is so weird looking. She’s hot as hell! He must be hung like a donkey besides being rich. maybe that explains it.

sound like someone being defensive about something!

@Francia: There’s common sense! I love that, “We, women, are not only incubators.”
North American women have the choice to have kids or not, and I commend any women who has the stones to say that she doesn’t. Too often women are criticized for not being breeders. Ugh… especially by women who have kids… like you’re supposed to want what they want. No thanks.
