Jonathan Groff rocks the house during his first headlining concert ever at Joe’s Pub in New York City on Sunday night (June 20).
The 25-year-old former Glee actor, aka Jesse St. James, rocked the house with a 12-song set, performing songs from his past Broadway life and covers of classic tunes.
Victor Garber attended Jon‘s 7PM show while Star Trek‘s Zachary Quinto and American Idiot‘s Theo Stockman (Lea Michele‘s boyfriend) attended the 9:30PM showing.

Awesome stuff. He’s an incredible talent and will go far. What impresses me most, though, is the fact that he seems pretty diverse — he can sing all sorts of genres and really rock it out. I wish he was cast on Glee from the beginning… I’ve have traded Jesse St. James for Finn any day of the week :P

Jesse and Rachel are soooo much better then Puckelberry, and finn/Rachel.
Finn can hook up with charice’s character, and Puck/Quinn can be together.
