Britt Reid (Rogen)’s life changes when his father James Reid (Tom Wilkinson) mysteriously dies. He meets an impressive and resourceful company employee, Kato (Jay Chou). They realize that they have the resources to do something worthwhile with their lives and decide that in order to be heroes, they will pose as villains. With the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they learn that the chief criminal in the city is named Benjamin Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz). He has united all the gangs under his power, and he quickly sees that the Green Hornet is a direct threat to the prosperous criminal underworld he controls.

Seth as a super hero no thanks.
Seth looks great here but they really need to stop trying to make him a leading man. He does his best work as supporting or a character actor.
I wish Hollywood would stop trying to make Seth Rogen happen. Jonah Hill too. Just no thanks to both.

Yes, I really want to invest in a superhero who looks like he spent his High School years lighting his farts and make fun of the gay kids. Whoever green-lighted this should work out their issues in therapy and not subject the rest of us to this mess.

Major disappointment that Cameron Diaz is in this. Seth has always been cute but he’s looking uber cute in this.
They should have simply created a new hero character for SR & friend, (what about “Frat brats by day, heroes by night”? and leave The GH alone. The GH was a gentleman, handsome and poised, and SR just can’t portray that.
Looks like another Jew comedy aimed at putting down Asian people. EFF you Jew Hollywood, us Asians are going to EFF you up one way or another!

This movie is SO going to suck. I feel bad for Van Williams because this crap project is just a slap in the face to the classic character he portrayed
and that I loved so much and remember so fondly.
Seth Rogan needs his ass kicked for this desecration….maybe Van could do it……I would pay to see THAT.

How could he co-sign the project? He doesn’t own the character.
Last I heard he wasn’t even offered a cameo in the film. Van played a great tough guy opposite Bruce Lee’s Kato.Seth Rogan is anything BUT that. This film looks to be a spoof like Adam West’s Batman was.(Sad)

Seth Rogan? For those of us who were fans of the TV series with Van Williams and Bruce Lee, this has to be the absolute worst casting possible!
Well, here’s hoping that someone will release the entire TV series on a DVD collection. Now, THAT is worth seeing (again).
