I wish they did more than 12 episodes, more like 15 or 16. It goes by too fast…

Great news. Loving the new season.
    Thanks, Jared.

    stay true blooded

  • kiko

The 2nd episode was way better than the 1st one. Congrats to Raelle Tucker and entire cast :) Russel and his bf were hilarious with blood dishes :P

  • Laki

Yesss, too bad there’s so little episodes and we have to wait a year between seasons.
    But hell in the yes!!!!!

  • Jaded

Russell and his boyfriend were hysterical with the blood dishes. I almost spit out the Pinkberry I was eating form laughing when they served the blood gelato.

The second episode was def better. More Eric. More brooding Eric. What more can a girl asked for.

So excited that they got picked up for a fourth season, but who didn’t think that was going to happen. It’s getting great ratings. HBO would have to have it’s head examined to not pick it up. I’m surprised they haven’t extended it’s number of episodes, but I’m guessing that doing an hour show that is actually an hour is like doing an additional four episodes.

YIPPEE!!! Doin a happy dance! Loving season 3 so far. Andy & Jason are hilarious together. COuld they be the next Andy Griffith/ Barney Fife duo???

As a fan of the books, I was interested to see how they would introduce Franklin since he was a vague character in the books. Loved it. I actually like Tara when she’s not around her Mama.

Note to Alan Ball for season 4: FULL MONTY SHOWER SCENE!

  • Shannon

Yes the creative ways they served blood was hysterical. I am an Eric fan but he isn’t looking nearly as hot as he did in season 2.

urggg the 1 year wait of hbo series is killing meee !

  • yeahz

Im a huge fan of the show, and its such an amazing show that i cant say im surprised! ;) this is good news

  • @sven

I thought you said the cast had a 7 year contract with HBO, quess you were wrong lol!!! There is a lot of bullsh*t going around with people giving false info……….

  • Jam

    Where’s Kate ????

  • Sleppyhollow

I absolutely love Trueblood….but is it a drama show or comedy show….at times it can be overly campy and corny like that scene Sookie has with Jason in which Sookie says she just expecting Bill to come throught the door and say ”Sookie”….lame found it NOT funny…
I understand why the Screen Actors Guide and the Golden Globes may not want to nominate those TB actors and why the show will never win …since it is catergorized under drama because at times it is not a drama like shows like Mad Men who constantly wins acclaim at those awards….BTW getting tired of the Tara storyline wasn’t a good character in the books either…..more Eric and Sookie please or even the Magistar who’s creppy but a lot more interesting!

  • Cherie

    In response to poster #12:

The cast most certainly did sign 7 year contracts. It doesn’t mean the show will run for 7 years, it just means HBO has you under contract and it’s their call as to how long the show runs. It’s pretty much a standard contract with most American television shows.

  • Saywhat?

Where did you hear that they have 7 year contract? What self respecting actor and agent would agree to a 7 …year….contract? Now your telling me that from the begining they did not know it was going to be a success and now the cast will not be able to renegociate their contracts until after 7 years or strike….from stated that the cast only had a contract up to the 4th season! Quess it will remain a mystery!!!

  • Malanna

Yeah..I agree that it is hard to define whether Tueblood is a Drama or Comedy….Those award shows will acknowlede TB but it is sad that the show will probably never win due to this…those Award shows seem to only award strait and narrow Drama shows like
Mad Men only. Perhaps a new category should be included in those award shows like Dramaty mixure of Drama and Comedy, TB would easily win!!! Also, I am tire of Tara character would also rather see that Magistar who is SCARY in a pee in my panys kind of way but oddly rspectable. lol The writters wasting time on Tara character!!!

  • Malanna

^ Wow such spelling mistakes lol I’m sleppy……. I am out!!! Love the show though…

  • Jam

Are you another poser or fangurl who ”CLAIMS” to know what they’re saying ….you cannot even say from where you got your info from about their contracts lol….be gone witches!

The Demon’s That Tempt Me: Memoirs of an imperfect angel…There’s a book about him on CreateSpace! I’ve read a few chapters on a free website, but the book is all about sexy skarsgard! It even answers the question about why he won’t admit kate bosworth is his girlfriend…hehehe

  • Marina

I’ve seen the book too! I actually ordered my copy off of

  • sven

Thanks Cherie for informing poster #12 that the cast all signed 7 year contracts. This is public information if you care to take the time to look into it #12. Hopefully you’ll do that next time BEFORE you make a fool out of yourself.

Look into where? You still do not say where you get your info so why even post your comment poser……….are just trying to save face?

  • Jam

Did AS write the book if not why would you actually believe sh*t they write about him …crazy fangurls…………

  • iluvtb

What does it say about why he will not admit Bosworth is his girlfriend? I’m happy about the 4th season…:)

  • Carla Nelson

I agree that he does not look like hiself since season one. The weight lost does not help at all to me it took away from the character because I thought Eric was handsome in the books. Theres nothing wrong with losing weight but in his case he lost to much. He had a nasty attitude in the books before he met Sookie. Eric told you what was on his mind in the books. He is to humble in the series. We all seen what Bill can do when he gets tired and irritated. Bill speaks his mind.

GOOD NEWS!!! im loving true blood so freaking much!!!

  • lina

sunday’s episode was so good!! im really liking this new vamp franklin and russell is hilarious

  • sven

OK saywhat and jam. Try and google the Stephen Moyer Interview from the Chelsea Lately show this month. Stephen Moyer himself talks about their 7 year contracts. Will that work for ya??? Geez people, this isn’t rocket science.

  • Carla Nelson

I’m glad to see the show makinig progress. The highlight will be Eric and Sookie getting together. Alan Ball needs to put this two together quickly because the I hate you and you hate me attitude can get boring between the two. At some point you will need to start making something happen that the fans want to see. If you don’t make nothing new happen you can loose some of your audience. Already I have start to get bored with Sookie and Bill relationship. When you are stuck like glue to each other in the series the story line gets old. I’m t hoping a wrench will be thrown to get Sookie and Eric together before the fourth season. I’m telling you people want to see these two together ASAP and not taking up the show by telling one another how much they despies each other every time they come across each others paths. When you only come on once a year thats a long time to wait to see something you like for another year, and then when you do watch these two have the same story line of hating again without something happening.

  • sven

I’d like to see the Eric/Sookie storyline develop as well. It would be great if they would follow the books a little closer. Problem is, so far I don’t see one bit of chemistry between Sookie and Eric.. Anna and Askars are going to have to bump up the acting to convince anyone that their characters could have any passion.

Hey I just got done reading a couple chapters: is this supposed to be one of the characters supposed to be Kate..

  • aintlovegrand

What happened to ep 4? Why wasn’t it on this week?

  • Mick80

@@sven: They do have to sign 7 year contracts but that doesn’t mean the show gets picked up for the 7 years. It’s just HBO’s way of covering their asses.

  • luvs2bhrd

Comedy..!??? I have not found anything like hysterically Funny to where you could in the slightest way say it’s a comedy it has it’s “Barb” or an occasional chuckle a bit scenes, but if it didn’t it would be boring like most of those shows that do win. it is so creative and “leave you on the edge of you seat, can’t wait till next week” that it is not even funny, the show is a masterpiece and i hate TV, but this show is a drug for me i love it, but what do you expect from someone who made one of the best movies ever “American Beauty” Alan Ball is a Genius, as is Charlene Harris got to give her Props also.. Peace, ASP

True Blood Season 3 has been full of surprises. We’re so excited about True Blood Season 4!

  • sara11

the shower scene with eric in the 4th book is it just eric in the shower…lol Thanks

  • rose butterfly

Glad to hear about season 4 coming, it is hard for me to find a show that can keep me enchanted, but i have found it with True Blood, it is witty, funny, sexy and put some horror and blood in and you have my fav combo, cant wait til its out keep them coming.

  • Aru

2011? That’s very, very, very far from now. I can’t believe they are starting this trend of making really short seasons and enormous breaks between them. If this goes to the extreme, we’ll all be middle-aged before the show is complete! (Yes, that is exaggerated, but I’m just trying to make a point.)

  • SleepyElmo

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE BILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and sookie is awesome too all of them are such great actors who put such great effort and realistic into their acting. I cant wait for season 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sookie y would you split with the hottest vampier on the show!!!!!!!!!

  • simo

WOW!!! AMAZING NEWS!!!..i cant wait for season 4…to be honest i have no idea why do u guys argue about how many years they have contract with HBO….blah, blah, blah…who cares??? the important thing is that we ar going to see season 4..and hopefully more…chillax..
anyway, i simply dont see why people think eric is soooo hot!! honestly, bill is so much more charming and he can be a bad ass too if he wants and the chemistry between him and sookie…well..its just unbearable….God , why dont these things happen for real???
For me personnaly, seeing them two is more important than anything in that movie…they are sooo damn good together!!! and i think bill is AMAZINGLY HOT!!!..
    see ya guys!!
