Kenny Wormald Scores Footloose Role!

Kenny Wormald is picking up his dancing shoes and headed for the big screen in Footloose.

Both Zac Efron and Chace Crawford departed the role. Kenny Ortega was set to direct but he also backed out.

“When we discovered Kevin Bacon in 1984, we were both excited and gratified – and also knew the chances of ever duplicating that effort was a million to one shot,” said writer/director Craig Zadan, who also produced the original film. “Decades later, Kenny Wormald
proved history could repeat itself.”

Kenny, 25, joins Ryan Seacrest‘s girlfriend Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid.

We remember Kenny from the MTV reality show Dancelife and he was such a great dancer then. We can’t wait to see his new dance moves!!!

Both of them should count themselves lucky. The film is going to suck.

Ryan Seacrest has a girlfriend???? Yeah, and I’m Prince of Wales. That’s right, just because you read something here, YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT.

This movie was not good the first time. I can’t imagine it will be any better the second.

All these young boys in Hollywood look the same nowadays. After a while, they start losing identity just like the blonde, fake-tanned, fake-boobed girls.

You guys don’t know that this film will suck, though I must say it is telling that so many people passed on the script.

Chase Crawford makes my heart skip

thank god they found a man that can dance! chace and zac are nothing more than pretty faces, they would need stunt doubles!this guy actually has talent!! congrats

they could have asked travis Wall from so you think you can dance too, man that guy can dance!

Keira i’m with you girl!

ahah i love kenny by the way, zac and chace are pretty good i mena ACTING not DANCING so, i think footloose will be great *-*

Oh my gosh, KENNY! I used to love Dancelife.

I’ve taken in the past Master Classes from Kenny. He’s got amazing natural dance ability and swagger. And he is a trained dancer and has danced for many musical acts. However, I hope he can do better with his acting ability. Center Stage 2 was not the greatest nor as good at the first one.

Lets be honest… This film will bomb, regardless of who’s playing the lead. And this kid isn’t putting anyyy butts in seats.

I remember him from Center Stage: Turn It Up. :) I like him! ;)

No need for remake. Please Hollywood stop messing with classics and just be creative.

This is not good news and suggest everyone watch the original one instead.
