OlderKristen Stewart Covers EW, Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner Get Own Cover
Kristen Stewart gets her own cover for the latest issue of EW, on stands Friday. Co-stars Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson are on a cover of their own, too!
The trio opened up to the mag to do a little rumor control (via Access):
Kristen on confessing her rumored romance with Rob backstage on The Oprah Winfrey Show: “She glided over to me – and she was strong, by the way, really firm hands – and she said, ‘How are you?’ I said, ‘Good.’ She said, ‘Good. Are you nervous?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I am, but I think I’m OK.’ She said, ‘Good. We’ll have fun.’ And then she just walked away. And that was the most I talked to her backstage.”
Kristen on comparing paparazzi pics of herself to rape: “I’m so sensitive about stuff like that. It is the one subject that means a lot to me. I made one movie directly concerning it and I made another one where my character has a horrible history of rape. I talked to a lot of people about it. I used the wrong word. I should have said ‘violated.’ But I’m young and emotional. It’s just the way it goes sometimes. I probably shouldn’t say this, but I just feel like people got so excited once they saw that it was me. It was like, ‘Sweet! Lets get her!’”
Rob defending Kristen: “None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first – who were doing it specifically to get hits on their websites. That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. All they need is to get a salacious headline and people click on it, because it’s easy… All of us stick together as well. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.”

normally i try to ignore all things twilight, but i had to make an exception this time just so i could say this: why does the boys’ cover look like a prom picture?

I know we can’t begin to understand what it’s like for them to be hounded by paparazzi everyday but their complaining really needs to stop. Other celebs go through the similar situation and we don’t hear them whining in every interview they give.

She smiles a lot but people pick & choose what pictures of her they want to use. Depends on what their headline is.
Anyway Kristen looks gorgeous & Rob & Taylor’s is so cute even if it’s Brokeback.
I find it pathetic how a lame ass witch with no life like you is the first to comment about this girl you hate. She is glowing on that cover, pretty and happy. I guess you said the word “fug” , just after watching your your dirty ass face in a mirror right?. Poor thing

IMO you’d have to be pretty steep in your prejudices to think this girl is ugly. She clearly is not ugly nor are the guys. Just like the word gorgeous is over used so is the word ugly. Only kids let their prejudices speak for them without regard to reality. T

As for what those actors have to say, they are literate and intelligent . While you might not share their views, that doesn’t change the fact imo. Sure, anyone who has to speak in a public forum is bound to say something in the wrong context, but that doesn’t make them irrelevant. How many times have you heard established celebrities, even ones that you like, make a faux pas? Every celebrity who has EVER given an interview has done it.

The only celebrities that get anywhere near the attention they get have been in the business a longtime or grew up with that kind of exposure like the Harry Potter kids. These three got it all with Twilight. So yes, it takes a period of adjustment. Stewart does complain about it too much, but then. she like the others, are ALWAYS asked about in interviews. She just needs to stop complaining and say she’s adjusting. The other thing that bugs me is that she seems not to give an interview without cursing. She’s way too free with the ‘F’ word. I think she is the most self conscious about what she says. Pattinson and Lautner both seem to be adjusting much better and have a better attitude about it.

As for the covers, I like hers, but the guys picture was pasted together. They weren’t shot at the same time. I think that’s a cheap way of doing it, but hey the mag just wants to make money.
