Impressive, really
Wow, I am impressed.. I thought he did a pretty good job with the dance moves (MJ will always be the best but he did pretty good).. the crying bit seemed a bit scripted though? Still great performance :)
I think the guy was just overwhelmed to be back on stage and getting a warm reception. Plus he idolized Michael and was torn up over not getting to do a tribute last year. The tears being scripted is too brilliant a PR move. Nothing I’ve seen from him the past couple years shows he has even a competent PR team.
PR Stunt.
MJ was his idol and MJ loved Chris even when died. So the world to denied him of this tribute last year. So I think he just wear his heart on his sleeve and left it all on that stage. I was beyond impressed. He’s a great performer. Say whatever you want about him but you can never deny his talent. I salute him for that.
Scripted? Sorry but Chris isn’t that good of an actor. This was amazing. He finally got a real chance to show his idol love and respect. If people actually listened to the words of Man in the Mirror maybe they would understand. Chris was a kid only 19 when all of this happened. Forgive him. He is trying to better his life. He really is making a change. Great comeback Chris. We’ve missed you.
you go chris, you show those haters what your about
im very proud of you
He did a great job, michael would be proud. Those tears are real, i remember chris saying how much he loved michael even when it wasn’t cool to.
Wow enjoy chris brown
I don’t like Chris Brown much -he’s kind of a douche- but the guy has talent. He can sing well and he can dance well and he did a killer MJ tribute.
he is totally talented and wonderful.. and he is becoming a good person!!!!
Come on tho – the show must go on. I feel a true performer would have sucked it up and got through the song.
not fooling anyone!
Chris did a very good job and so touching his performance, especially when he sang “man in the miror” I love this song and i miss MJ…..
CB is talented singer – well comeback CB.
@lulu get a life you fu*cking hater.. if you dont like him.. he made mistakes but we are human we are not perfect .. but he did apologize and he is becoming a better person.. and thats about our life to learn on your mistakes and to become a better person!!!!
OMG> That was not a PR! No grown man in the hip-hop business is going to CRY on national tv. He clearly broke down. He knows he did wrong. Everyone deserves a second chance. no one forgets what he did, but that doesn’t mean he should live the rest of his life having to prove himself. He did a great job, and i still love him. No matter what you cant deny his talent. R.I.P. michael. “I just wanna say one thing,’ he concluded. “I let y’all down before but I won’t do it again, I promise. I love y’all, good night.” I believe him!
You can’t deny talent and he is TALENTED.
i am soooooo proud of him and so would michael jackson if he was still alive. chris is such a talented person. love him so much <3
He’s lip syncing.
Have you seen his moonwalk? Now, compare it to Rihanna’s XDD Ha! Aww That performance was touching. You can tell how much he loves MJ. Love it.
Charlie sheen got a comeback in two seconds, all is forgotten because he has a hit show, but Chris nope, for some reason he must remain a pariah for the rest of his life
Good job!!! Amazing dance.
SELF INDULGENT WHEN HE “CRIED”
HE IS A GREAT DANCER AND PERFORMER, NO DOUBT BUT WHY DOES THE PUBLIC FORGET WHEN THESE PEOPLE COMMIT HORRIBLE CRIMES?
HE CAN ENTERTAIN BUT SO DID O.J.
DID HE CRY BECAUSE HE TRULY WAS OVERWHELMED WITH EMOTION REMEMBERING HE DIDNT LISTEN TO THE LYRICS IN HIS PERSONAL LIFE ABOUT RESPECTING AND LOVING OTHERS OR WAS IT A GREAT P.R. STUNT?
I SAY THE LATTER….PATHETIC….
Yeah but michael best dance
I think it was sincere. He was a young kid with Rihanna, he admitted he’s wrong and got help. Let’s move on.
