Eminem Covers Billboard, Tops Album Sales

Eminem‘s new album, Recovery, will bring in the biggest sales week of 2010 (he’s on pace to move 700K units).

Here’s what the 37-year-old rapper shared with Billboard on being the best-selling artist of the last decade: “I don’t think I’ve actually stopped to think about it. I never thought that my life would amount to this. But to be able to sit back and digest it is so strange to me, because I still feel so regular. I don’t understand what people think the big deal is about me. It’s a very strange relationship that I have with fame.”

Eminem recently backed gay marriage.

Below is the video of Eminem presenting the “Top Ten Eminem Pieces Of Advice For The Kids” from earlier this week.

I love Eminem, Haters only hate on him so much because he really does dominate the Rap world and with Recovery sales being so good, and him still at #1 5 weeks later, just shows that he can out sale anyone right now.
I’ve heard him say in many interviews he don’t see himself as “anyone special, I’m just a normal guy”. Its so true, this man has made millions way over $100,000,000 and half the time you see him he looks like any other guy, baggy sweat pants and a wife beater. He don’t rap about money, cars, or fame. He is emotional just as much as he is talented. He don’t listen to critics and often proves them wrong (Recovery scored a 59 with the critics look how that turned out, Straight to #1, stayed at #1 still at #1). I do enjoy his ego on the new album, the flow and wordplay are untouched. “When I die so does Hip Hop” – “I’m mopping the floors with them, I keep trying to pass it but they keep dropping the torch, and it won’t be long till this sport is over”. Hate him or love him, you can’t deny that his man has some serious skill. Not to mention he was just recognized as Artist of the Decade.
