    Ouch,
    the movie is a flop.
    Better luck next time, Jake!

Jake looks so hot and so happy!!! I’m glad his movie is a success. I saw it with my little cousins and they loved it, but so did I! Maybe he is getting ready to make a sequel to the movie. I hope he does.

  • sorry

@pickles: There will be no sequels, the movie lost money.

…That movie could have made a billion dollars and it doesn’t matter, it sucked sooooo fcuking much. And EVERYONE knows it.

  • http://youhavebeenchosen.wordpress.com M

YAY for Jake! the movie is awesome! don’t know what you Americans disliked about it, next time, Disney, spend money on overseas marketing, not US and Canada

  • paloma

    @sorry:

This is when i’m going to take pleasure in proving you wrong…

The movie’s budget was 200,000,000 and the movie has made 312,000,000. So clearly, it hasn’t lost any money. Maybe you’re just too bad at math than you can’t see the difference… PATHETIC!

  • sorry

    Paloma,
you are ignorant and bad at math.
    Production budget was 200,000,000
    Marketing budget was 100, 000,000
    = Movie Costs 300,000,000
Disney gets 50% from the gross income
So Disney made 156.000.000 so far, a little over 50% of the movie cost

  • LOLO

the movie’s profit was 12 million, its revenue is more than its expense (BUDGET) which makes Jake’s movie a blockbuster.

Very impressive. Is this his first blockbuster?

  • fangirls are clueless

There is no profit, the movie didn’t recover its COST yet.

  • box office mojo

    * Production Budget in millions. On average, studios earn approximately 55 percent of the final gross.

  • pickles, who is not clueless!

You don’t know “jack” ! No way did they spend $100M to market Prince of Persia. It cost less than half of that. LOLOLOLOL! You spend too much time on the internet. You should figure out what information is right and stop lying on Jake! I think you just like to spin negative for Jake. Sorreee! You are wrong no matter who you are calling yourself today! #3,#10, &#12,

  • The New York Times

    May 31, 2010
“Prince of Persia” sold an estimated $37.8 million in tickets in North American theaters over the holiday weekend, a weak performance for a film that cost about $200 million to make and carried global marketing costs of more than $100 million.

  • Donot Be Sorry!

PofP made a large profit and it was a big success worldwide. some people who donot like the movie, for what ever reson it maybe, trying to make all kind of funny excuses to make it look bad and justify their prediction of promised failure. I bet it hurts to see the movie such a success. wait until Disney and Jerry B. make the PofP sequel. Ouuch!!.

  • facts

#16, are you delusional or just stupid?
Prince of Persia is a flop, you can’t change numbers and facts.

  • Donot Be Sorry!

@Fact: to be honset people like you are true definition of stupidity. so talking about facts and math by you makes me laugh. with your retarded math even iron man lost money. but in any case as I said I know why you are so angry. not everybody reacts rationally when they reliaze they are wrong. have a glass of water and hope for better luck next time.

  • slambang

Jake is still cute and sweet, and it’s so good to see him so happy!

  • lmao

@Donot Be Sorry!: LOL, you are really retarded!
Prince od Persia is a flop, Deal With That.

  • first huge flop of summer

‘Prince of Persia’ is first huge flop of summer
Last year, it was “The Land of the Lost.” This year, the first big-budget flop of the summer is “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.” Despite having been produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of the hugely successful “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, and being based off a popular video game, “Prince of Persia” tanked at the box office this weekend. It’s budget was reportedly $200 million; over Memorial Day weekend, it took in an embarrassing $30 million.
The failure of “Prince” could spell trouble for Jerry Bruckheimer. His last film, “G-Force,” didn’t go well with moviegoers either.

I guess if you go back a month, you can find stuff, because it’s so important for you to appear as if you are right!
You are wrong and you can call yourself anything you want, but the one thing remains is that you are wrong.

Jake haters should go elsewhere. Why bother to post on a thread if you so obviously hate him. Bet you haven’t done $300+ Million in your life! LOL!!! Are you a video store clerk or what? LOLOL!

Knowitall who wants to impress people and insult people.

  • http://www.swedishfriendfinder.com/ Kendra

    where’s austin

  • You Fools

Prince of Persia came out less than a month ago and is STILL IN THEATERS!!! You people are acting like it’s not going to make any money after today. It’s still in 8th place in the box office!

Should we even mention that the movie will probably make at least $10,000,000 per week in DVD sales for a few months after it’s released, then probably a few hundred thousands for months and months and months after that.

It’s completely obvious it will make money.

  • jenna

Ugly. He also seems very old manish.

  • muak

    @You Fools:

Totally right. POP IS NOT A FLOP.the movie has had good results.
There has been a hit, but not a flop. In fact, isn´t far from lara croft
    POP
    Domestic: $86,221,879 27.6%
    + Foreign: $226,000,000 72.4%
    = Worldwide: $312,221,879

    LC
    Domestic: $131,168,070 47.7%
    + Foreign: $143,535,270 52.3%
    = Worldwide: $274,703,340

And Lara Croft is remembered as a success. Video game adaptations are difficult to accept. And everyone knows

God, how bad is the envy

  • mr moviephone

The boxoffice is a huge disappointment. It was supposed to take off, spawn sequels and be a “tentpole” Disney franchise. Instead it sunk like a stone, barely broke even and won’t turn a profit until AFTER DVD sales are factored in.

  • se

    This clothes is a catastrophe!

  • se

Jake Gyllenhaal has enough money. He can buy better clothes! It is a pity watch a person which haven’t good taste and can’t enjoy his money.

  • simone

    Se,

jake can wear anything and he still continues hot! Better like he came in the world

  • andy

POP hadn´t a big boxoffice because it´s in 3D. Even more, movie went very well overseas. Pop beat the boring Lara Angelina Craft.
One more thing: only does foolish believe Disney didn´t earn money with PoP.

  • se

    simone

He has lot of money and he can buy something better to wear!
Were you by born of Jake Gyllenhaal! Have you seen he when he was a baby?

  • simone

    Se,

I didn´t see any Jake baby pic´s and I think his mother keep with her jake baby pics naked (LOL).
    So, just imagination.
About clothes, in specials events , Oscar, Premiere, Jake wears very very well. He was one of the best in Oscar 2010.

  • se

I didn’t speak about Jake pigs naked. I have trought that you had seen him with baby (blue) clothes. In Oscar and Premiere there are stylists which say what the artist must wear.

The Hollywood actress and actresses are so mental debt that they must to received and wear the chothers that stylists and the mode lobby give order to them wear…..or they are so opportunist that they find advantages to become everything without pay anything!!!

  • se

If we have in the habit of wear with good taste this habit like all good habits will develop more and more.
If he haven’t any kind of study or background and he can win lot of money, he must learn how to use his money. It is important for rich people that they develop taste for beautiful and positve things. With this reference they can find good things in life!

  • shank

wot ever…………we just want another pop movie…..

  • Jim

@sorry: Yeah 300 million may seem like a lot but it cost more to make, no doubt. I don’t think they have let out how much it cost.

  • Jim

@paloma: Well then it didn’t make ENOUGH money, since if it had we would be hearing about a sequel already and we ain’t heard nuttin’.

  • The 4lbino Guy

I think it’s hilarious how so many people who hate movies, actors, actresses, etc. actually take the time to look them up on the internet just to post this type of bullshit! How pathetic is that? If you don’t like them, DON’t F***** LOOK THEM UP YOU F***TARDS, pieces of trash, mouth foaming, trolling, garbage! Get the hell of the internet! If a hater don’t reply because I won’t read it, so don’t waste your time!

I for one loved this movie and the actor they chose for it. Really loved the backgrounds, artwork and characters. I think the director would do an even more amazing job on Assassin’s Creed if given the chance.
