Larry King: Retiring From 'Larry King Live'

Larry King announced on Tuesday (June 29) that he will be ending his show, Larry King Live, after 25 years on the air.

The 67-year-old talk show host first made the announcement on his Twitter.

“I’m ending my nightly show this fall,” Larry tweeted. “But continuing at CNN.”

“I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I would like to end Larry King Live,” Larry wrote on his blog. “CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids’ little league games.”

Larry then concluded, “With this chapter closing I’m looking forward to the future and what my next chapter will bring, but for now it’s time to hang up my nightly suspenders.”

Jared, Larry is not 67. He’s closer to a 100. Well, 76, anyway.

People shouldn/t bash him, they need to respect what he’s accomplished.

No Pierce please. Some said Katie Couric. Very possible.

It will be difficult to do one hour show every night. Not too many important people/subjects to interview and you will ended up with tabloid figures/crazy people. Haven’t seen any world leaders on his show in a long while, but he did have some great interviews during past 25 years.

I learned muchoo from this man thru the yrs. His show was always the best show and most entertaining bessides interesting.
I do think he waited too long as he was getting older and his memory was not as sharp but there was a time when Larry King could not be beaten.

Thank You Mr. King…Time to go I will always remember you.

HAVN’T WATCHED YOU IN A LONG TIME BUT YOU MADE THE SCOTT PETERSON CASE A NEVER MISS.
