Older'Eclipse' Shatters Midnight Box Office Record
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse broke previous midnight box office records by raking in $30 million on its first night.
According to Variety, the previous all-time grossing film for midnight runs was New Moon which made $26.3 million.
The film, which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, opened in over 4,000 U.S. locations and will expand to 4,416 today. This breaks yet another record making the film the widest domestic release in Hollywood history. The previous record was held by Iron Man 2 which was released earlier this year.

It’s a sad state of affairs when horrible movies like these make so much money.

. The second movie also had the biggest drop off of all time from one weekend to another last November
It droped by 70 percent in one weekend but no one focuses on that.

So that tells us it has a crazy fan base but not a regular people who dont give a crap just want to see something fan base. So basically its a fad, when the films end that will be it and something else will come along. Nothing to worry about I personally ignore it.

Ive heard that there is another dark book series that has Vampires that might replace it It is suppose to be alot better but bring in even more people will have to see if it ever gets off the ground

Twilight is writen to brain wash little girls with Mormon ideals. I mean Bella doesnt even have any friends outside of her life with the two male charactes that is a mormon ideal so not only are these films bad they are scary unhealthy for young girls that without a man your world is nothing you dont have any friends all you need is him? Like I said scary and no one even sees it.
