OlderParis Hilton Detained in South Africa But Not Charged or Arrested
Paris Hilton has reportedly been detained in South Africa for possession of marijuana.
The 29-year-old socialite was held by police after she and her entourage were confronted at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium while attending a World Cup game, according to TMZ, who reports that a source close to the situation says Paris was not the one in possession of drugs.
Paris has been updating her Twiter with photos of her trip so far, including photos with her and thirteen pieces of Louis Vuitton luggage as well as pics with fans.
“Had so much fun at the game today. What a match!” she wrote earlier today. “I love South Africa!”
UPDATE: Paris denies these reports! She tweets, “”Hey guys, there’s a lot of crazy rumors going around. Just want you all to know the truth. Everything is completely fine. I was not charged or arrested, cause I didn’t do anything. I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions. Everyone was super nice and friendly to me. I love South Africa! Such an amazing place, especially during The World Cup! Hope that clears everything up. Love you guys, thanks for your concern. Xoxo P.”
