I’ve done a lot of design work. The font looks ill-placed to me. Still excited for the movie!

@KellStar: I do design work, too but I don’t really see how you think the font is misplaced. It’s all centered and geared toward a central focal point. I think it’s a great poster.

It looks AMAZING!! I love how it’s so simplistic, but at the same time it does so much!! It’s so heartbreaking to see Hogwarts on fire!
I also love how it mirrors the movie poster for Sorcerer’s Stone too. It’s absolutely brilliant! I want to buy it!

Nice poster! Luckily not those awfully photoshoped posters you see these days (and yes, I know that this is photoshop too, but they did a good job instead of some others)

I’m one of those people that loves typography to no end but this poster could have no type whatsoever and it would still have the same impact (if not more). There does need to be a period at the end of “here” and the dates are really big but they wanted to make sure people know there are two parts. Based on the lack of credits at the bottom this feels more like an ad and not a poster…

I think. the poster is beautiful! Can’t wait to see the movie! It was my childhood…

I’m Spanish and here “h.p” is the same than “s.o.b” in English, so this makes me chuckle.

That’s not the final poster. Like some people have said here is like an ad. If you are a fan of the franchise you all should know that they always released one like this and then they release the official one. It is called teaser poster. I don’t see nothing wrong with the type placement neither. And what alguien said is true, my dad is always making fun of me cos of that.

This is just the FIRST teaser poster.
They will release the official poster and other promotional posters featuring the cast when it gets closer to time for the movie.
DH part one doesn’t even come out until November.

HP doesn’t show off Radcliffe’s acting abilities much at all. You have to see him in other things to appreciate what a superb actor he is. Like My Boy Jack, or Extras, even his first gig as David Copperfield. Those make it clear he is at the tip top of his profession. HP doesn’t do that at all.

I think Dan’s acting talent is definitely evident in the Potter films, especially when you compare his performance now to the earlier films.
Harry is such a complex character and it takes a versatile, talented young actor like Dan to bring the character to life.

    Kyle Payne Says:

I agree. His acting in Order of the Phoenix while Harry dealt with Voldemort’s mind control was great. When he yelled “Look at me” at Dumbledore, shivers were sent down my spine.

Judging by the new trailers and this teaser poster, this movie is truely going to be EPIC! Remembered as one of the greatest franchise finales to ever be made!
